Tabac Specialty Coffee Cigars

I am always looking for a good place to smoke cigars and this was it.  I'm not an SD native, but this was definitely a great place to go:  quiet, good coffee, etc.  I was a little disappointed that they only sell their own brand of cigars since I did not have any of my own with me, but they were not too bad.

late sunday night and we decided to walk around gaslamp. it was interesting to walk around without crowded streets and drunk people. i had been to a few cigar bars in sd long ago so we searched around for a place. the first place we tried turned out to be closed. so using my phone and yelp i find tabac. scared we would walk there and end up disappointed i get a delightful female on the phone. i ask her what time they close and she said whenever, we stay open for the customers. hell yeah that's what i like to hear. so we head over and check it out. there is still a good amount of people there being so late. there are about 6 of us and all of us grab a cigar to enjoy. sadly the cigar was good for me but the menu looked great. i really wish i would have gotten some gelato, but another time. the employee was very nice and helpful. she brought out ash trays for all of us and checked up on us as well. good place and good vibe. we left around 130ish and people were still stopping by

I have been here multiple times and have never had anything but awesome service. There tea selection is great. I have also tried the chai tea latte which is very very good and the caramel macchiato which was good as well. I am more of a tea person and thus not all that qualified to make judgement of espresso based drinks. The hookah is also good and okay priced I think its $15. The white peach is the best flavor I have tried. Despite the fact that they have some really tacky pictures on the wall I like this place.

Tabac makes the best cappucino in SoCal, plus a relaxin chill spot any time of the day....get your face n the place and fire up a hand rolled robusto as well!

The best cafe in downtown, if you are looking for quality and chill environment this place is for you. By far the greatest hookah experience in San Diego. Great selection of coffees and teas especially the cigars all hand made. Also a nice place to bring your date

I've been a customer of this place for just under 20 years now. Some may wonder how this is possible since Tabac as an establishment is relatively new. And the answer to that is "Avignon" and "Gran Havana", for those who remember those particular locations; they were a sight to see and a travesty to lose. The location might be smaller, but I'm glad  to see that the owners simply took everything that made this place great and stuffed it in a smaller box.If you're on a date with someone special, do yourself a favor...take her (or him) here.

I love it it's cute the staff is friendly and the tea is stupendous. I highly recommend this place to others.  Parking may be a slight problem-I guess the parking structure would be the best bet.short and sweet no need for a dissertation : )

I love this place, i love the coffee and the selection of tobacco products, my two favorite things in the whole world! what else could i ask for! The service is excellent and the staff is just wonderful and really nice! and what i also love is the calm and mellow atmosphere.
