Disclaimer - I've only been here after late-night drinking binges in downtown. The little food I've had here is great (yes, I have had the food here while sober). I usually have a kebab of some sort, and have never been disappointed.I've mostly been here to smoke hookah. They have a wide selection of flavors, and the wait staff is always attentive when it comes to hookah issues. You enter into the main room where they have a number of tables set up, as well, as the kitchen area. On the weekends you will also find a DJ mixing mediterranean/Indian sounds, along with some current hip-hop. I recommend going to the back to the covered, outdoor seating area. It's usually less crowded back there, and not as noisy, so you can actually carry a conversation. They also have a pool table and a couple of TV's out there.Negatives - They charge $10 cover on the Fri Sat. $10 just to smoke hookah? Also, there are cheaper places to smoke hookah in SD, than here. On the weekends, when they have the DJ in the main room it is nearly impossible to talk with somebody sitting right next to you. Another thing is this place is quite a bit away from the gaslamp, so if you were planning to check it out after a night of drinking, you might need to take drive or take a cab.
