Habibi's Cafe and Hookah Lounge

Haha, I fucking love this place. Reading "bebe's" review, I'm sorry but I'd have to disagree.. I walk up with a couple of my friends, and a friend of mine is 21 but looks 15, and ask us for I.D. We left all our purses in the car, and we were going to get it, and he said,"no it's okay. you don't have to walk too far, but you're over 18 right?" And we're laughing like duh! And he's like it's okay, as long as you're over 18 it's okay. I like their prompt coal deliveries. Sometimes their music is kinda off, but hey, you can't please everyone. I like that place. Their theme is pretty cute. I wish they had outdoor seating instead of sitting in a room with lots of weird people.

It wasnt the most on and poppin place on a Thursday night, but their hookah was good as was their mix of Arab and Electronic music. Definitely a very simple, nice kick back atmosphere. Of course its location makes it more than difficult to locate.

I went there last night with 2 friends and ordered the strawberry kiwi mint; it tasted amazing and was only $8! Prompt coal delivery, good arabic music mixed with recent hits, and a very cool persian gangster atmosphere and gorgeous decor. It was not too crowded when we went, it was early on a weekday, but we left around 8:30 and it was starting to fill up. Later on at night there's belly dancers and a dj, its a party worth going to! I docked a star because their brownie made my friend sick.

I like Habibi's, but for some reason every one I have ever gone with comes away from the place with a bad impression. Every one tells me that their hookah tastes like shampoo and that the blairing Arabic music is making their head spin and blah blah blah. To me, hookah never tastes any different no matter where I go and no matter what flavor I chose (like MMs). What I like about habibi's is that its close to my house, employees are nice, It's 5 bucks for Hookah, and It's open late (3am). So after a party I would much rather smoke hookah that eat at denny's... Hookah has to be healthier for you than Moons-over-my-Hammy at two in the morn.I would give the place four stars but because of peer presure I've lowered it to 3The Arabic music is pretty loud

OMG this place is gross.When you walk into this place, it seems like you just walked into a drug dealers hideaway. The managers sit in a corner and just stares at you as they sit on myspace looking at half naked teenaged girls profiles.It's really akward going here because no one is ever in there.... It's just your group and the creepy managers that try to listen to your conversations as they stare the intire night. As far as the hookah goes it taste like cheap chewing gum. They claim to use starbuzz but that's bull..... They use the cheapest quality products on the market. The only people that go there are friends with the managers/owners. No one else is dumb enough to waste their money at this dump. The only way i would suggest this place is if your going for a laugh....If you want to see Arabs dressed up like Lil Jon(Grills and everything!) then go here for the laugh.
