This restaurant has gone under new ownership (a month or two now). The new owner is originally from Syria, but hails from Germany I think.Anyway, this is by far the best place to get middle eastern and Mediterranean-esque food in the desert. I know that doesn't particularly say much since there aren't many here to start off with, nor are there many quality restaurants of other specialties in the valley for that matter, but this place holds its own.The standards are done great - Kabob, Chicken shawarma, tabouli. Theirs a home cooked feeling to the dishes... reminds me of my grandmothers dishes, but made in more presentable restaurant fashion. You can guarentee that you'll be served quickly because it hasn't gotten well known yet. Aside from the hookah area in the back (which usually has some people enjoying a smoke), the inside is a relatively light crowd. I can tell you that the head chef knows what he's doing and he enjoys it. I'm giving this place some time and undoubtedly, through word of mouth, it should grow into a solid hot spot in the desert for dinner. try it!
