One of the best hookah places in the city. The shisha is smooth and the atmosphere is lively without being obnoxious. So much better than the Horus on Ave. B. The music is better, the service is more attentive and with none of the nonsense atittude.

Like the other Horus on 10th Street. however you can dance also the music is great

I've only been to a handful of hookah bars, but this place is great for what it is. Attentive service, reasonable prices, plenty of room to mingle with friends (love the upstairs section with couches a live DJ). There's a belly dancer there some nights, which is fun. The DJ on Friday nights plays a pretty good music of music. Just wish there was more of a designated dancing space! The music made me want to get down but there wasn't room!

This place recently changed its name, but the idea is the same. I'd been here a couple of times before. It was rarely too crowded and the prices were reasonable. But last night? We stopped by for hookah and got charged 35 DOLLARS. We weren't offered a menu "because they hadn't printed the new ones yet", and I didn't ask how much it was before I ordered one. But still, $35 is way too much for a regular hookah that wasn't that great and didn't even last that long. Not going back here. I don't recommend you do, either.

I've been to a couple of hookah bars in NYC (some average and some great ones)! And this sure is the worst one...I went with a friend of mine and these russian waiteresses kept on chasing me around "are you ready to order?" every two minutes! I felt so uncomfortable...because that was new to me for a hookah bar! It's a hookah lounge so run it like that! They're not supposed to chase you around! They've a great website which really traps you but place is nothing like what it looks online! While I was sitting there, I was saying to myself "I'm NEVER coming back to this place"!

I am kinda torn on giving the Horus Lounge a 2 star review. The people there are nice, the staff is friendly the decor is cool but my one complaint is the volume of the music. I do not need my eardrums buzzing and have no voice when I leave because I was screaming in order to talk to my wife and friends. Sorry Horus

This place is so awesome. I've been to a bunch of hookah places and I've never been to one that actually uses fruit as a bowl. Just delicious. The prices were fair, the hookah was great, the service was wonderful and we were actually able to purchase some of their delicious shisha. I am going to be looking for this place again when I visit NY.Thanks Horus!

I was invited here for a friend of a friend's bday party. I have to say that it was one of the better hookah/Middle Eastern lounges in the city, if you're into that sort of thing. I look at it as more of a novelty than anything else really. There was a live DJ playing all of the prerequisite booty shakin' stuff, the likes of which I've heard a million times before. But the belly dancer was impressive and totally entertaining. It made me want to learn! My time there was fun while it lasted, but I probably won't go back anytime soon.

My favorite spot for hookah. The hookah is pretty cheap, they have a full bar and their drinks are good. Can't comment on the food since I've never eaten there. The place is a bit dark but I personally find it adds to the ambiance. My only real complaint is the music is so damn loud that it's hard to hold a conversation without yelling. But other than that, this is my spot for hookah, and it's less crowded. Best nights are Friday/Saturday night from 8-11pm.

I've been here and Horus' location in Alphabet City. Very similar, and my decision pretty much depends on where I am at the moment...The food is great, I loved the Shawarma sandwich. The outdoor seating is amazing. I just went to the upstairs lounge for the first time the other day... I didn't even know you had those couches up there!
