Ghaleb's had great service overall, from the prices to the service. It was really cheap as well. We went in on a Monday and it cost us 20 even for 3 people. In the 3 hours we were there the hosts came by to check up on us and the coals about 30 times. Ghaleb's is a great place to go chill anytime. Were going again this Friday

I have never had the food here, but the hookah is pretty amateur and the drinks are watered down. My expectations of course are rather high, I own several of my own hookahs and have been making and smoking my own for many years. The atmosphere can be fun, but is most definitely NOT an indicative of a traditional hookah bar. At night the place is basically a club playing hip-hop top 40 music with a relatively small sized dance floor. Rarely have I come here with Arabic or Armenian music playing, and when I request the waitress claims they have no control over the satellite radio. Ghaleb himself is a nice man, he's let me slide on more than one occasion on things that would have probably gotten me kicked out of anywhere else. It is admittedly a fun place to go out at night if you stick to beers and not their "hard" liquor, as long as you are not expecting a traditional middle-eastern style setting.

What a colossal waste of potential. Ghaleb's has within its grasp the chance to run a truly unforgettable Beirut/Cairo style nightclub with sheesha/nargileh offerings, a late-night hot spot feel, a solid kitchen churning out great Mediterranean fare, and that certain kitschy glamour that only the Levant can pull off. But what a disappointment. Ghaleb's is basically a cavernous, overpriced, loud, trashy, Bud-light dispensary, with a menu created by someone who should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the culinary law. To run a place like this in such a promising environment is simply indecent. What folly!I am giving it two stars because there is just so much potential here that somebody simply must seize upon it.

I went there one Saturday from Walnut Creek to Fresno 2 hours driving and guess what? This place was sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!! Way tooooooooooooo loud and pricey!Bunch of teenagers dirty dancing everywhere... It wasn't comfortable to sit next to them then eat and smoke hookah! I waste my time to came here for nutin? Well i decided to try sum shawarma sandwich since I'm here already,,, Waitress she took my order she was okay but instead of spiced juicy shawarma with sumac tahini sauce and pita bread, they gave me xxxxtra black pepper and salt spiced overcooked extremely dry chopped beef with ranch dressing yea ranch dressing!!!! Come on what the f***k....I ordered shawarma not burrito / even burrito is taste much better/.

I didn't have a very good time here, but only because it's not really my scene. If you enjoy a loud club atmosphere, being served cocktails and smoking hookah around a table of friends, and watching the scantily clad female servers dancing on platforms, then I could see this place being fun for you. For me, I was there with a big group of people, and the staff was really good about finding us a place to sit and getting us extra chairs. The girls were very conscientious about making sure our coal supply was refurbished. I would have thought at the drink prices we were paying, the drinks would have been stronger. Also, the loud music and hookah smoking did not allow for any conversation or interaction amongst our friends, so we were left with two hookahs and ten of us sitting around watching the girls dance. Fun, if you're into that scene.

Look, if you're into the whole hookah lounge thing, more power to ya, but don't go for anything else. The food was admittedly wasn't bad as middle eastern cuisine goes, but it was overpriced for the quality and quantity. The service wasn't very good and when my buddy and I went, there was only one other table occupied, so it wasn't like they busy. Then to make matters worse, we tried to split the bill and she ended up over charging my credit card $20. It was the only time in my life that a server did not give me two copies of the cc receipt and so I left the one that I signed and that was it. Well, I guess I learned my lesson and I have never left a restaurant since without my copy of the receipt. Now it seems, this is my only recourse.

Hmmm....We came on a Wednesday. There was about 10 people here. It was karaoke night. It was not loud or packed; apparently how it is on the weekends. I liked the smell of it here, however when I woke up the next morning, the way my hair smelled made me sick. (wash hair before you go to bed) Probably wouldn't go back on a Wednesday night. And the outfits the girls wear!? They're cute if you have the body for it...that's all I'm saying.

Ok so Ghaleb's. The menu for food is SHITTY. The hookah I've smoked there is good, lasts long. The place is pretty small itself. The "go go dancers" arent required to dance well or have physically fit bodies. The DJ was lame. The music was pretty outdated. The 10 dollar cover is not worth it. The girl working the door was SUPER rude to me. Saying i looked like i was in high school when I clearly had my college id.Its good for a few close friends to hang but not much more than that.
