I went here to have a good time but experienced the worst customer service in the Hookah industry... Their staff are completely unprofessional.. I met a very attractive woman and we connected and were dancing. Her x boyfriend came between us and tried pushing me out if the way. I ask why he was trying to push me away with his arms. He called three of his friends over and 4 young immature boys were all confronting me. They were not even buying drinks or hookah. They were definitely loitering while I was spending money on this establishment. So I went to the bouncer and explained what happened. He must of knew them because he did not do anything. He allowed them to stay even though they were clearly making trouble in front of them and 30+ witnesses. I decide to go outside on the patio to get some fresh air. The troublemakers were outside and they were talking about gang related jargon. They were saying don't mess with south side this and that, basically threating me. I told them I was not afraid of them. Then he signaled to his security friend that was watching the back patio and he said something into his headset.Then the other bouncers came and said I had to leave. So I did.When I was outside I could see the troublemakers celebrating by giving each other hi fives and thanking their security bouncer friends for throwing me out. If you want to have trouble and be in a place where you pay money and get absolutely no respect then go here, however AI recommend you try another hookah place.

so i don't care that any of you say that smoking hookah is worse than smoking anything else. i like the lightheaded-ness .. i like the taste .. i like the fact that i have to constantly ash my coal .. i just like it. period. sorry. LOL. someone in my communications class tried to convince me that it was bad for me and while a small part of me agrees, a bigger part just doesn't fukn care. so .. to hell with it. off to Layalina's i go!!so my first experience here wasn't so bad .. EXCEPT for the fact the DJ here is WHACK!!!! omg ... horrible. he can't mix right!! i'm sittin here goin bad to a koo ass jam or about to get my ass on the flo' to get on it, but then he switches to another song every 5 seconds! nigga, what kinda shit do u have on rotation tho!??! ... i don't mind if you wanna change it up and go from reggae to ranchero music (well actually i DO mind), but when you don't keep the beat or blend the music right, it just .. ughhhh *puts fingers at temples* i found myself getting incredibly frustrated just LISTENING to the music. thank god for Alcohol. :)my favorite flavor here is After Sex. .... HAHA. enough said. :) try it, you'll love it.2nd time coming here i couldn't BELIEVE how packed it was!!! i think it was just cuz it was someone's birthday and they had the whole VIP lounge portion reserved, which by the way, is kind of pretty cuz of the lighting and the drapes and what not ... but mayn, i'm tellin you, it was a sweaty hot mess in there. all the tables were completely full with like 2 or 3 hookahs on each table, there were people at the bar, people outside smoking, people people people... like, woooow Layalina's is crackin tonight!!!so it was nice to see the lounge in 2 different lights -- crowded and not crowded. LOL. both aren't so bad, but it's that DAMN DJ!!! 3 stars for good hookah service and good drinks with nice prices. 1 star off for a whack ass DJ and 1 EXTRA star off for a whack ass DJ. ... LOL. but i'd still come here ta kick it :)

I like hookah but I was not so sure about going here. I was already on the guestlist so I went and it took them quite some time to figure out where the names were...irritating! I had a great time once I got in but the dj was not good. I got something called a cold hookah...I guess the bottom is refrigerated therefore somehow it enhances the experience.I did not see much of a difference but since I was not paying for it I didnt care much.Overall:Its a hit and miss as far as partying goes, but definately a good place to just get hookah and chill.
