A homy independent coffee place, with lots of seating room to study or socialize. Recently started requiring a minimum charge for credit card usage, though. Good ambiance, friendly service, cute frequent patron cards. Love taking home the white mocha to spike it with a little liqueur... Man, I'm turning into a lush.

A perfect place for you and your hipster friends to discuss the election (gOBAMA!), world affairs, indy films and your disdain for reality tv. Those squares up the street at starbucks on march lane are just fueling the corporate machine, eh comrade? To sum up, their baristas are friendly, the lighting inside is slightly dim but in a good way and the seating is cozy with lots of couches and lounge chairs.

Very spacious and great for studying! There are lots of chairs and tables of various sizes that cater to single occupants or large groups. The coffee is good and there is plenty of parking. Free WIFI and outdoor seatingThe only thing that I would complain about is the amount of flies that fly in. I would suggest a device, scent, or maybe close the door more often to repel these pesky bugs.

In pursuit of the best coffee shop I have searched far and wide. Java Aroma is definitely far (I'm from So. Cal) and wide. As in HUGE and spacious. You can literally sit on one of it's many lounge chairs and inconspicuously talk shit about someone in your best 'inside' voice without that someone noticing. (If they're not sitting with you and are situated somewhere else in the shop.) I think it is literally the biggest coffee shop I have been to -- probably as big as my house if it was missing the living room.I can't really vouch for the coffee or food here but the hot chocolate, service, menu pricing and shop patrons are decent. I'll be back!

Ohh back in the days when I was young but not a kid anymore, but some days I wish I was a kid again..Anyhow, yeah back in the late 90's like 1998-2000's was the shit kickin it here.. like.. all the racers would post here, the fixed up Acuras and hondas with body kits, a supra here and there, 3000gt, the old 300zx, A INTEGRA WITH.. CORVETTE TAIL LIGHTS... WTF IS THAT SHIT?! And a jealous race crew that was shooting at another race crew....as if they claiming like a gang, one claims Honda the other Claims Toyota.. man whatever.. Well those days are gone, well I haven't been there in ages, but you have free wifi and all thats one thing that came in after the 2000's. And there's usually.. bikers maybe..Thing is they have like a sister branch or something like that in Miracle Mile at that one Theater and I have been to that one and its probably same in size indoors, but more outdoor space here because of going cross this narrow roadway there's also a table and benches and chairs. This place is good.. but you know what I think the Starbucks Company should do.............. have select locations labeled as open late night until 2am, and there will be signs to differentiate each locations closing hours.

An awesome place to grab some coffee, hang out with a friend, and completely relax. Don't worry about "the owner being a bitch" because most of the time when I go there with friends, we bring some food, stop at a table, grab a coffee, and pig out while talking with friends. The setting is indoors and outdoors comfort, so it suits everyone. I've lost many hours here in the evenings talking to friends and making new ones, over conversations that include anything and everything.Check it out. It's a great taste of the good things of Stockton.

I've only had the tea here, and it's pretty awesome (they serve those organic Numi teas). I've also had their blueberry scones, which are the best I've ever tasted! The best parts about this place are the size and the hours. It's a huge cafe with plenty of seating. I'm not sure when they open, but they're open until 11pm on weekdays and 12 on weekends, great for studying (lots of students are usually here). The only bad part is that it gets kinda noisy: the music is often played a little higher than comfortable.

I'm partial to both locales, the other in the old theatre on pacific, but on nights when starbucks finally closes its doors, just like a solid "fun buddy" Java Aroma will always be there for you. don't forget to show off your student ID for a discount and score a pink free drink card, are they still pink? It's been TOO LONG JAVA, i miss you. I've studied there, drank there, listened to great music ther, cried there, laughed there, and so much more. the grasshopper tastes like a mint girl scout cookie and my other favorite, i can't believe i forgot the name already, but its something like heaven or bliss. its DELICIOUS!I'm partial to both locales, the other in the old theatre on pacific, but on nights when starbucks finally closes its doors, just like a solid "fun buddy" Java Aroma will always be there for you. don't forget to show off your student ID for a discount and score a pink free drink card, are they still pink? Dear Java Aroma,Thank you for being that chill spot to hit up on all those warm, summer nights when I was too hung over to drink again. Your cafe americanos are bitterly good, and your flakey, chocolate croissants were the perfect compliment. Most importantly, thank you for being there for us during that short time when we were hookah-less. If it weren't for you, we would've been down and out, and smoke-free, now who would want that? Though we were sometimes bothered by the young crowd who came out solely to show off their cars, it was always a good and relaxed time with you. Now that it's getting warm again, I promise to visit you soon. So thank you from the bottoms of my heart, and slightly blackened lungs. Sincerely,Joan H. P.S. I can still taste the sweet flavor of pear and mango when I reminisce over the many, many hits we shared together.

Very good coffee. But choose the time you visit wisely. If you show up later in the day, you'll have to make it through the cloud of smoke and the kids obviously not old enough to drink down the street at Basil's.
