I really want to like this place but i never end up having a good time here.  The food i have tried is awful...especially the hummus and might i add the soggy pita that comes with it.  The servers for the most part are an unfriendly and condescending bunch.  The worst part about this place in my opinion, however, would have to be the hookah.  They are poorly prepared and taste like a forest fire.

The Eros Cafe is such a cool place!  It reminds me a little like Central Perk on Friends but way better.  There are cool, old, but very stylish couches, arm chairs and tables to get comfortable in.  The menu is hip and unique with hot chai or a cold chai shake (awesome), delicious homemade crepes with assorted fillings and toppings, personal vegetable pizzas, etc.  The atmosphere and lighting is semi dark and sexy (go at night), and the music is unique and sexy too (something like Sade meets Electronica).  Even the waitresses, waiters and owner(s) are very sexy euro exotica.  But don't feel intimidated if you're a blue jeans and sneakers type person, because they make you feel warm and welcome and right at home.  Once there, you'll never want to leave because it's so cozy and comfy, especially on a dark cold winter night!  Go there, be there.....what are you waiting for?????

Yup, I love Ero's.  I go here pretty often, I won't lie. And I love the fact that, having recently returned to NJ, I find that not only have they added a wine shop in their cafe now - they have really rearranged it and it has an even "sexier" feel - to quote the previous yelper.   The pizzas are good, and you can't go wrong with saganaki, but I am addicted to their skordalia and tzatziki - it really is the best I've ever had, and I've been to a lot of Greek places in the city.  The pita bread can't be beat either.  I just recently had the "Horiatiki" chopped salad also, with red wine vinaigrette and found it very enjoyable.  Ero's is a great place to go with friends to sit, chat, and catch up.  And it's true - they really do play great music.

Ero's Cafe was a last minute change of plans for my cousins and I to have some drinks on a Sunday night 09/14/2009. We were looking for a BYOB hookah bar and Ero's was the only one we could find that was open until 1am on a Sunday night that allowed BYOB. The atmosphere and ambiance of the establishment was welcoming and relaxing although the outdoor seating in the back was less appealing than the main dining area. We brought in our own beer so I have no reviews on their beverages. The dessert items they have were exquisite. We ordered chocolate covered strawberries, a nutella crepe and a lava cake. The waitress was attentive, she never gave us an awkward feeling nor did she make us feel ignored. I noticed that she was very attentive to all of her tables and wasn't being too attentive in which sometimes can be very annoying. The lavatory was clean and spacious. My overall experience was good. I would hang out there again.
