We had fun bowling here on a trip up to Sac Town visiting friends. It was good fun and the fact that they were doing Disco Bowling made it even that much more enjoyable. It was PRICEY, though...perhaps because of the disco part. BUT, it was fun and the Heineken pitchers were cold! A good time was had by all.

This place is cool at times because of the prices =)They have a small selection of arcade games... bleh... you can see them as you walk in. They do have a bar with pool tables in there too =). The lanes are decent to good. The staff is okay, not the best though. The prices are wicked awesome. $1.50 per GAME =). Well, it is only $1.50 at certain times of the week and all of august. My friends and I come in packs, and spend hours here for about $30 for all of us. Sometimes they have the idea of glow bowl during some nights. They also have a cafe where you can order lots of fried stuff =). I would recommend this place for a cheap thrill =). (Call ahead though)Pros: Cheap/ cheap for groupsBar with pool tableCafeteria...BIG parking lotCons:Old technologySome balls are worn out.Chairs No music?Neutral:Not a loud placeNotes:Gaining in popularityAugust is 1.50 per game =)3.75 stars

I've been coming here for at least thirty years on and off. My brother and I used to be involved in the kiddie bowling leagues when we were young. Needless to say, the décor has changed very little since then, heh. You feel like you're back in a time warp when at Crestview. Too bad they got rid of the huge video game arcade that used to be where the bowling shop is now - it was awesome! They should really take down the sign on the front of the building that says 'arcade', and also take down the 'arcade rules' sign that is still up years after the arcade was closed. Lazy management I guess. But other than that, the place is still a great venue to frequent. Good prices on the lanes, decent, normal crowd, quiet. Great programs for kids.

I approve! I'd give them 4.5 stars if I could; Yelp desperately needs to allow half stars! Reasons Crestview rocks: dirt cheap games on weekday nights, reasonably cheap games any other time, dirt cheap pool, cheap and stiff drinks, and friendly staff. Reasons Crestview does not get five stars:1. This has only happened once, so I'm not sure it's a trend for them, but the bartender wanders away and leaves the bar unattended. I had to wait awhile to get a drink, which is of course completely unacceptable. As if that weren't traumatic enough, I then had to wait indefinitely to pay for the drink because I went to the ATM, got cash, and returned to find the bar deserted yet again. (Yes, they only take cash. Take heed!) I figured, hey, apparently you don't want me to pay for my drink badly enough to be physically present and collect payment, so I'll consider it on the house and make a run for it. Thanks, incompetent bartender! Making me incur an ATM service charge for nothing is not cool. Not cool at all.2. Of all the bowling alleys in the area, it seems to be the busiest, particularly when school's out. Perhaps it has something to do with the fact that there's very little to do in Carmichael other than drink and smoke hookah, so as an all-ages venue, I can see why the place is bouncin' bouncin' more often than not. About a third of the times I've gone there they've had a wait of a 0.5 to 1.5 hours. Um, thanks but no thanks, we'll be taking our business to Mardi Gras now...3. One of the cashiers was a chauvinistic pig to my sister, but she was drunk, belligerent, and being a militant feminist, so I'm not really counting this one. I've never had a problem with them personally. The food has yet to be evaluated and it will likely stay that way. There is something inherently wrong with charging $5 for stale chips and processed cheesestuff. Gee, captive audience much? No matter how bad the munchies get, I suggest you boycott the food in principle and make the more economical choice of hitting up Taco Smell on the way home. Hellllllz yes.
