i only found out about this place by searching online.. because my friends and i wanted to go to a hookah bar. but you shouldn't rely on their website for information because i don't think it's been updated in a while. it's a pretty small place that's hidden in the back of the Pacific East Mall. anyway, cool place with a young crowd. lots of flavors to choose from.. they got pool tables and this little dance floor. the only thing i didnt like was how the employees would come around and ask, "can i show you something?" and smoke all the freaking hookah while they show off. yeah, get away.

Evertying you need in life -- cigarettes, cigars, zippo lighters, pipes, bongs, hookah, knives, eyedrops, dimebags, and lotto scratcher cards. They have an impressive lounge upstairs where you can smoke or play pool for a small charge. Best of all, it's located inside the Pacific East Mall so you're conveniently next to 99 Ranch Market, as well as some tasty vietnamese and chinese restaurants. There's tons of parking for the mall unless you're there on saturday morning when everyone is doing their grocery shopping.

Walk past the hanging Peking ducks, Hello Kitty and bins of dried fungus, and take a left. Here we are! Smoke shop and hookah lounge, of course. Can't get more random than a shisha bar packed with blinged out high school kids bumping to cheesy hip-hop tucked in the former attic storage of an Asian mall! It's a weird scene. Compared to the rest of the building, it's nice-ish. Wannabe swanky interior, dim lights, plasmas. Lots of little rooms and chill out areas host groups of youngsters as they suck sweet mouthfuls of all-you-can-smoke for $15. In the other rooms, the fellas cluster around the pool table, blinking through the haze at girls wearing jeans so tight you'd have to peel em off like a fruit roll up. You get the feeling this is where the "bad" underage Cal kids go to get their freak on. There's no alky bar, so come crunk. Really it's the only way to interact with the locals. Procure some of the lovely smoking accoutrements from the adjoining shop: pipes, both glass and old man style, flasks, lighters, pungent cigars, some even in mahogany cases, and take the party home. Or at least to the parking lot.

I was here for the first time last night and really enjoyed myself.  I chatted up the friendly "bar" tender who schooled me on a whole bunch of stuff I never knew or would even think to ask about re: all things hookah.  Being a noob, I listened with open ears.  The hookah was really good and never got harsh.  I liked the disposable tips...seems way more sanitary than the other hookah lounge I went to.  It was dark inside, but not  too dark and the music was varied...from MJ to the latest hip-hop tracks.   It was kinda warm in there, but it was a warm night too so maybe that had something to do with it.After hanging out and smoking for an hour or so I wandered to the dancefloor which wasn't crowded for a Thurs night.  The DJ was spinning the latest club hip hop tracks and the laser light show was a nice touch.  The crowd was young but there was no drama and everyone seemed really chill and were enjoying themselves.  Being that I'm officially hooked on hookah and this place is super close by, you will see me here often.P.S. - A liquor license would make this spot a 5star joint!!!

There are a few things this place is doing right and a few things that just aren't working,PROS:~I love how there is a price for unlimited hookah. I went on a Thursday and cost me 10 dollars. Not to shabby if you ask me. ~The Hookahs they use are not bad at all. I been to places where they use horrible hookahs, shisha, and/or coals.Hookah hut has good Hookahs, good shisha, and decent coals. Overall better then most. But I know hookahs, so i can tell good from bad from crap.~I like how they have pool tables. some people don't but shoot some pool and smoke in between shots. I liked the idea.~Dance floor DJ. Great concept if they played better music. I'm a fan of most music, but tacky hip-hop and 90's RB... meh~Lots of seating...everywhere! everywhere i went I could sit. Chairs, couches, and stools where rampid in the place. IDK how they manged to put so many seat without it being crowded. It over comes the laws of physics. Okay, not really... but it is nice to be able to sit now matter how packed it gets. ~Friendly staff. Always helpful and walking around to change your bowl and coals.CONS:~Call me crazy, but the fans and air flow was too strong for my liking. I like to blow rings, french inhales, and such, but hard with a strong breeze. That's just me though. ~ Younger crowd! There were older people in there, but a lot of them were young: 18-21. ~I wish I could of got some alcohol. Next time I may bring a flask or come faded already. ~Music- like I said... needs to have a better mix.I think if your a Hookah fan and want to go some where to relax and have fun. This will work fine. Great price for a good hookah experience.  I'll give it a 7.7 out of 10 :) ~Vitto

Z and his entire staff were amazing, and played fantastic hosts, I loved it here! Yes, a young crowd, but you bring the party with you, right? Cost was $15 to get in the door, but that pays for several hookahs. The private room is the best-your own pool table and sound system.YAY!

MEH.When I think Hookah Lounge, I think tall ceilings, tall drapery, dim lighting, loungy music, mature adults, finger foods such as hummus and pita, wine....a chill, chill time. DISLIKES: - located in Ranch 99 (in an Asian mall!).- 18 year-olds and possibly younger, all over the place. - billiards and hookah don't mix.- hyphy hyphy music is not suiting AT ALL.- there was a small dance area where all these young bucks were standing against the walls like a high school garage dance party. there was this one girl who, when she entered the dance floor, went directly to a dude and backed her booty into him ....to an awful, awful rap song. there was no warming up to him. just straight booty action. to a RAP song. so SAD.- bathrooms are downstairs in the mall AND  have a bad pluming problem.-  if you're 21 years old and +, you feel really, really old at this joint.- NO ALCOHOL TO BE SERVEDLIKES: - $15 for hookah ALL NIGHT, lots of of flavors.-  you automatically feel better about yourself here because the kids are so sad.

1.)  Great flavors: try the Jolly Rancher! 2.)  Excellent service and friendly staff: Z is a great host and Jamil came around every 15 minutes to check on us and to give us some fresh coals.3.)  Nice pool tables and unlimited play included in the $15 cover charge that also includes the hookah.4.)  Great hip-hop5.)  The shop downstairs has a very nice humidor and other smoking accessories.Great place to enjoy a nice hookah in a club-like atmosphere with full-sized pool tables.  If you're looking for a quiet corner to smoke your shisha, sip some mint tea, and read a book, this is not it (at least on a Friday night).  But if you're looking to shoot some pool with your friends while enjoying a nice hookah, this is the spot.

I've walked by this place several times before but never checked out their cigars since I wasn't much a smoker of them back then.  But after a little while of having smoked some nice cigars and researching them online for price, quality and strength, etc., I decided to head into this shop and see what their prices were like.To my amazement, their prices were incredibly steep!  Just about EVERY cigar that I saw inside their big humidor was either listed as $9.99 or $10.99.....SERIOUSLY!  Even brands such as La Gloria Cubana Corona which I really like were $10.  I just kept looking and looking and every cigar was overpriced....well....maybe not every single one, but MANY!They do offer a 5th free cigar for every 4 bought...or 1 free for every 5 bought....or something like that...but still....that doesnt make up for the price often times.  They have a wide selection but theyre nuts if they think I'd pay that much.  Has a wide selection of lighters and pipes if you're interested....very nice butane lighters at $6.50 and zippos in fact.Just a horrible place to go.....for cigars anyway......I'll just leave it at that.  ......

Stogie's hookah hut is a very chill place to go hang with friends. 15 bucks at the door for unlimited hookah, and pool tables. its 18+ and there always seems to be fine ladies who like to dance. the location is very aesthetically pleasing, it looks very hip and attractive. A nice place to go if you wanna impress a date. lots of hookahs, lots of leather seating and all the flavors you could imagine. the dance floor is very cool and spacious, although it does get kinda hot in there when its packed. DJ is always spinning danceable hip-hop and whatever is popular. if its your first time going your gonna be confused when you park at a mall, but trust me once you get inside you will find this golden gem of a hut. Hookah flavors I recommend are Jolly-Rancher, Kiwi, Coconut and Watermelon.pros: cool clean and hip. lots of good looking girls and unlimited pools tables and smoke. staff is really cool and fun.cons: it can get pretty ghetto at times but for the most part no one really messes with you there. also $15 bucks to get in, and sometimes its just not the crackin!
