So I have been hearing about this place for a while but never knew it was in Foster City. So I went one day with my ex (ew). We got parking right in front (niiice) and I walk in and the place looked very clean and tidy. So DUDE that I went with got us some Tea and I got the hookah. Now the name of the place does not disappoint...it sure was "Waterfront." The view was great outside. Boats and duckies everywhere, mannn do I wanna live in one of those water houses! But anyways, I was hesitant about going outside because it was an ugly day...but they have heaters, yay! So we chill and play some cards (don't ask, his idea) and then we get our hookah and tea, and everyone seemed chill. I liked the vibe, a lot.I'm totally going back =)

As my buddy Nathan Bosia would say, "How is it called Waterfront PIzza when they don't have pizza listed on their big wall menu dude?"I haven't been to Waterfront in over 4 years, but on November 4th, 2009 I decided to make my triumphent return."FINALLY...RAY-RAY HAS COME BACK TO WATERFRONT PIZZA!"I always thought the pizza here was good, but they really stepped their game up since the last time I ate there. The pizza I ordered was awesome and the new menu makes this the best hidden Pizza / Mediterranean / Greek restaurant in Foster City. I mean, they are the ONLY Pizza / Mediterranean / Greek restaurant in Foster City so they kinda get that title by default. I noticed that they also redecorated the joint and the place looks really good. They also added a Hookah section in the back, but I didn't take part in that because smoking is for losers. The people that did decide to slowly kill themselves by HOOKAHING-IT-UP in the patio seemed to be having a great time though. Kudos to that new addition. In closing, I would just like to say that I'm super bored and have nothing else to do right now. I would also like to say that Waterfront Pizza is awesome and you should totally hit it up the next time you get those "Dude, I Want A Pizza With A Kafta Sandwich And Lamb Kabob" cravings that all human beings so often get on Tuesday nights.NOTE: I would have given this place a 4 star review, however I had to deduct one star after the cashier made fun of me for being a virgin. (I know it's kinda weird. I'd go into more detail about it, but it's a long awesome story that none of you deserve to hear right now.) Oh yeah, and for the record, the cashier is totally wrong. Why you ask? For two reasons,Number 1 - I bang more chicks then Smith and Wesson.Number 2 - I'm FUCKING hot!In other words, yes you found this review helpful.

You would never know they have hookah and great outdoor seating overlooking the water behind the restaurant. And that's why this is my newest favorite gem. You order your food and hookah ($15) at the counter and they give you a card for the hookah. Someone will come over and set you up. We tried the double apple flavor and it was pleasant. We also ordered some hummus and vegetarian pizza. Hummus had crunchy bits (still unsure what it was) and it was good. I confess I dipped my pizza in it. The pizza was good, I'd say more of a thin crust but more of a doughy slightly chewy consistency. Service was more than satisfactory and the waitress had this look like she was so amused by us. I think we just have that effect on people.

Obviously there are better places to get a falafel (Good Frickin Chicken, Kan Zaman, etc) but this is the best place to smoke hookah-you do it outdoors on their deck with the water and nature as your backdrop. Their deck can accommodate a lot of people so the wait for hookah is not ridiculous like at Kan Zaman. The heating lamps are awesome much needed for the nights when Foster City gets a bit chilly. My favorite flavor of tobacci is double apple. The staff is real cool about refilling your charcoal so you can smoke until your lungs collapse.Service is pretty crappy, but that's to be expected. Their prices for food is ridiculous ($16 for chicken/pita/salad/hummus, but the chicken is pretty good.) We've asked for water or drinks and not gotten it. Their falafel is dry kind of rubbery. None of that matters--go there for a beer and hookah that's all you need in life.

I don't like the way that you order your food and take it to the tables. I did like the food. We had pizza that was delicious and chicken kabob that was also great. The service is about 2 stars.

A friend and I went to Waterfront Pizza yesterday afternoon, hungry from moving all day in San Mateo. Instead of settling on America's bland version of Mexican food at Chevy's next door, and in the mood for pizza, we decided to give this place a try. It is located in a shopping plaza and the facade was bland so my expectations were low. Upon entering, we did all our ordering at the counter instead of being seated, which made it feel slightly rushed. However, the menu was pretty basic so it didn't take too long to decide on the gyro. You can never go wrong with a gyro in a Mediterranean-owned place, that's what I say.I saw that it had outdoor seating so we opted to go out on the deck. A beautiful sunny day on with a lake view in Foster City (though I still thought we were in San Mateo) reminded me of Florida. In fact I think we could see the fog hovering over San Francisco. When the food arrive it was just what I needed, the gyro was filling. Especially good after I'm used to such small portions in San Francisco. Overall, a good experience and I'd go again if I'm ever in the area.

My colleague suggested coming here for lunch as it is one of his weekly dining venues. I was pleasantly surprised by the huge waterfront exterior patio at the back of the restaurant.Kafta Sandwich - ~ $7- French Roll was fresh, soft, and tasty- Kafta was juicy and flavorful- French Fries were perfectly fried and tasty!Service was friendly as one of the staff members put up an umbrella to shade us from the sun! :DAs my buddy Nathan Bosia would say, "How is it called Waterfront PIzza when they don't have pizza listed on their big wall menu dude?"I haven't been to Waterfront in over 4 years, but on November 4th, 2009 I decided to make my triumphent return."FINALLY...RAY-RAY HAS COME BACK TO WATERFRONT PIZZA!"I always thought the pizza here was good, but they really stepped their game up since the last time I ate there. Why you ask? For two reasons,Number 1 - I bang more chicks then Smith and Wesson.Number 2 - I'm FUCKING hot!In other words, yes you found this review helpful.I had my birthday party here last Saturday. I would love to give this place the detailed review it deserves, but two days later I'm still in the same dress, drinking PBR and tinkering with my presents. So I'm just going to make due with the mental tools at my immediate disposal.Nice Things I Have To Say- The pizza was quite delicious. I could actually taste the different ingredients and toppings, unlike most pizza joints I've been to where you could substitute the food for those pizza-flavored Pringles you get at the supermarket. Did I just use "supermarket" in a non-ironic context? Is this what getting older means?- The beer was cold, and the pitchers it was brought in were clean. - When we couldn't get outside to smoke hookah, we bought some of their shisha to take home. Their lemon mint is nowhere near the hook. Possibly the smoothest I've ever had. I will definitely come here in the future for hookah. If I can remember where the hell it is. This Is What I Know But You Didn't Hear It From Me (Except You Did)- Some of the food was exceptional. However, some of the food was the opposite of that. The meat pies were dry, the pita was chalky and one of our pizzas was very visibly burnt. I ate it anyway, because by the time the food came out I was so hungry I would've eaten vegan cupcakes with homophobic slurs written across them. - As hinted at above, the service was nothing to write home about, unless you didn't mind buying a stamp to send out a letter with the words "F*CK THIS PLACE" scribbled in red crayon. All in all, a decent place to eat and smoke (if their shisha is any indication of the experience) but I probably wouldn't book a friend's birthday party here. Unless I didn't really care about them. Or if they slipped me a veg burger patty and hoped I wouldn't notice (yeah, I know it was you). This was REALLY good! You can sit out by the lagoon with pizza and beer and chat for a long while. Mediterranean food and pizzas both. We had a pizza with feta and thyme and tomatoes on it -- and while [for shame] I picked off the tomatoes, I really enjoyed the taste and unique texture of the pizza. Greek dressing was too lemony for me, but I'd try another salad and many appetizers. Yum! BLUE MOON on TAP... yes!I've been here three times and finally on the last visit learned that they actually do have pizza on the menu... Until lately, I had just been reading the writing on the wall. Literally, the menu is written on the wall. There's a more complete menu up at the cash register. But by the time I get there I've already decided what I want and nope I can't change my mind!Eh.. I can't have pizza anyway. The kebabs are wonderful, my favorite is the musakhan with rice instead of pita.Hookah on the waterfront! It doesn't get any better than this on the Peninsula.

sooooooooooooooooo its a beautiful spot with water and lights very romantic, tea is amazing. SERVICE different story, arrogant and somewhat rude. We walked in and asked for a table for two, guys says no room. We walk outside and ask anyway after 7 minutes of standing there with others staring at the empty tables they seat us. We ask the server for flavors, he states "check the back of your card" um okay, we werent told that to begin with chill buddy. In a nut shell they know regardless they will make money because of the location and hookah being so popular so they act how they want. typical. I would go back maybe on a slow day when their heads arent too far up ....have a nice day yelpers :)))
