This place feels like you stumbled into some dude's college living room...and I love it!The two consecutive nights I spent sucking down shisha in this cozy little spot were nothing short of magical. The atmosphere is chilled, smoky and dimly lit: exactly what your are looking for in neighborhood hookah bar. The service was attentive and knowledgeable, frequently checking the hookah for dead coals and recommending one amazing flavor combo after another. If you play your cards right and ask nicely, the gentleman at the door will even make you balloon animals and talk about his glory days as a traveling circus performer. Bottom line: become a member and grab some floor!

Don't let the unkempt dreads or the spaced out look fool you, folks. This ain't no peace-loving hippie. The guy who runs this place has some serious anger-management issues and obviously not much business sense if he thinks his attitude toward his customers is not going to come back and bite him in the ass. Daniel S. (first reviewer) was very generous in awarding two stars given the treatment he received. If you're looking for abuse, by all means check this place out. Otherwise, avoid.

Walked in... The place is about the size of a donut shop... It's literally about the size of my bedroom. There are about 10-14, 16-19 year old kids all lounging around... It's like a record stops when we walk in... We kind of stand paralyzed for about 20 seconds trying to understand what we've walked into... It felt like we were inside some weird Children of the Corn sequence... So we turned away and left, before anyone ever even knew we had come in... Despite being there for about a minute... As we were walking away we could hear someone faintly saying 'hey guys...' but it was too late... We we're already holding each other swearing to never speak of this again...As two 27 year olds we've never felt more like 50 year olds... It was odd.. I would imagine that this place is awesome if your under drinking age, and none of your friends parents are out of town... But for us it was a little depressing, and cramped...-Old man haggard

i've been waiting for a good hooka bar in the mission. sink into this cocoon of luxurious color, pattern and texture--colored light drops glinting off beautiful gems of hand-blown glass or rainbow beams wisping on curls of smoke as the music curls around your body...massage, body-painting, and live performances. what more could you ask?

It's a little bit the dream; part cold sweat that has you patting down a flush, part rabbits in walls breaking out in top-hats. The tea maker doesn't leave his counter -- standing, coy, with fingers flipping curls through sedimentary hair. Hey bud, you yell, how's about a blueberry bush with pink apples and a touch of yellow-smelling bird? The tea maker nods his body and starts to tend, chopping at imaginary ferns and stems. Yes sir, I have just the stuff, something bitter, a little tough. Oh yes sir, this is very much the stuff. While working, his room turns to stare. The curtained walls inhale, exhale, with his very huff.

Hookah in a room.saturday night hangin' out smokin' hookah watching the people on the streets while jammin' to the jams.the owner was attentive and very personable. the ambiance was great, and the location perfect (coffee to the right, liquor store to the left).we smoked 3 hookahs and went through 2 six packs, not a shabby saturday night!

Can't say I know much about Hookah Lounges, but this place was tight. I hung out there last night, had a few hookahs, and slayed some brews. The atmosphere is cool, the dood that worked there was cool, not a bad spot to kick it with your homies.
