Really surprising to find an excellent Mediterranean place in Coos Bay. Food is good and prices resonable. The owner is very friendly and his family was there, which is very traditional. We had a mezza plate with lamb, it was subtly spiced.

This was a surprise find in North Bend.  We read a review in a guide book which gave the address in Coos Bay.  Both the address and phone were wrong but I called information and got the correct info. Owner Sami Abboud, came to the United States from Lebanon in the late 1990s and opened the restaurant in North Bend. It was featured in one of Rachael Ray's travel programs.  The food is very good middle eastern/greek features Shawerma, gyros, falafel, and mezza. Lots of choices both vegetarian and meat. well worth the stop

If your visiting the coast and you find yourself craving some falafels and hummus instead of fish, this cafe will fix you up real nice. They make the BEST falafels in the NW!!! The service is nice and the atmosphere is very authentic with hookahs and Middle eastern music playing in the background. They have a great menu including some vegetarian dishes and the price is just right.
