Ok so there is really nothing magical or Disney feeling about Aladdin's, in fact at times it's a little sleazy, but for some reason more often than not I end up there. When entering Aladdin's you will usually be seated way to close to a party of 8, have some horrible music video serenading you in the background, and have your vision obscured by the sudden darkness. Once you get over all that, order yourself a hookah and get over it. I can't really speak for the food, having only once had a very mediocre appetizer, but I can speak to my favorite hookah flavor ABRA KADABRA, and yes it's magical. What it lacks in ambiance it marginally makes up in the wide variety of tobacco flavors that they offer. It's not the kind of place you want to spend a lot of time in, but it's definitely a good place to enjoy at least one hookah and a round of beers with some friends.

Aladdin's gets 3 stars, mostly because of it's location. The staff is a bit pushy, and the patrons often come in already drunk since this lounge is right on Elliston/West End's main strip and directly across the street from The Gold Rush. The atmosphere is pretty much like any Hookah lounge - dark, smoky, loud music, creeky booths, lots of middle eastern paraphernalia. The hookah is fine, the tobacco is pretty standard, and the equipment is pretty well maintained. Because of it's location and high rent, everything is a bit pricey! I certainly don't recommend it for dinner, but the food is good, especially for a hookah bar!
