I really enjoyed my time here at Gypsy Cafe. Stopping in because my boyfriends friend dates the owner I feel like I got an inside scoop on how this place works. Gypsy Cafe is of course smokey. How you can smoke a Hookah inside but not a cigarette is still something to ponder. However, Hookah smoking is much more cool and not as stinky. We chose a raspberry tobacco to smoke as it came highly recommended from the owner. Sitting down three of us in a semi circle the technique was explained and the smoking began. Completely different from normal tobacco this smoke was delicious and gave a nice little buzz of its own. We branched out and tried two more different blends, but the raspberry was definitely the winner. Its taste was as advertised and super fun smoked out of the intricate pipe. I have to admit the experience was relaxing. It felt very decadent to lay back on the plush couch and just chill. Gypsy cafe pleased the smoker in me and the nonsmoker that is my boyfriend. We had an excellent time and will be stopping back here again. If you are looking for a fun way to relax and inhale, this is your thing.

This hookah cafe is fantastic, I might enjoy the atmosphere at Shisha a little better but like Steve B. said, only by a hair. The one thing which is off the hook at Gypsy is their Chai tea... let me just say it is the best thing I have ever tasted. It took them 20 minutes to make which is the first sign that the sea is going to be spectacular... it's rich, creamy, and fairly sweet.... You know how they say babies are addicted to mothers milk, well this is the adult version of the same addiction. Does anyone know how they make their Chai tea??? Is there condensed milk in there? I would love to know because unfortunately I no longer live in cbus and want to replicate the same holy goodness.

I prefer Gypsy to Shisha only by a hair. The hookahs are of the same quality, but Shisha just seems to be a little nicer. My sole bone to pick is that it is a smaller place and it can cause problems if you want to come on a Friday or a Saturday night since it is almost always completely packed. When I have been able to get some form of seat with friends we tend to just from place to place for about 30 minutes trying to get a comfortable set up.I recommend this place, but only if you are willing to travel to another hookah bar if it is too full.

The name implies it all. A chill place to smoke and relax by yourself, or engage in conversation with the person next to you.The majority who frequent this cafe are generally very chill, nice, and always open to share their hookah's with you :)My favorite part of this cafe is the $5 Hot Chai teapot! You are able to get approx. 8 cups off one teapot, great deal for fantastic, tasty tea :)The price of hookah is generally much more expensive than if you were to buy the materials yourself, however, that is expected. Still a great place to chill for $10 for at least a couple hours. In a nutshell: Fantastic place if you enjoy smoking hookah, chill places, or a change-up from the everyday 'bar' scene.
