Tanjia is the best hookah lounge I have found, hands down! It feels like fate that I have found this venue on accident. I was going to a nearby hookah joint which happened to be closed that day, and Tanjia was there as a substitute. The neighborhood, which is hardly a nightlife/party district makes Tanjia seem like a diamond on the rough. The beautiful interior design is dim and very chill. The only light source in the place are from the candles, and glistening bottles by the bar. I can't even begin to list the different flavors of hookah they have. There are the basic flavors, which go for $10, and 3 people can share 1 hookah. Then there are deluxe flavors that are mixed, and go for $15. They all pretty much have really dirty and suggestive names, but they all are really good. This place is pretty empty during the day, but Tanjia always maintains a great atmosphere. The service is really friendly and professional! I feel so welcomed when I am there and I look forward to each visit. You haven't had hookah, till you've been to Tanjia.

The place is really cute, very nice small roomed dim lighted antique decor. Its really cheap only $10 for a hookah!!! If you come in a big group of people you get seated in the back with nice couches (there's only 1 though)and the rest of the seats are the same except that big couch area for people in a group. Im thinking what if alot of people came in and that is occupied where would u seat them since the other wooden seats are for 2-4 people. They would have to have atleast 2 tables right next to eachother not occupied in order for a seating problem not to happen. But what are the chances of that happening especially on a weekend. But anyways, Their strawberry drink combined with pina colada drink is sooooooooooo good, yummmm, def need to try it. Not too sweet nor too bland. Def gona go back there.
