Shisha International

I stopped in Shisha only briefly so I can't give a comprehensive review but never the less here goes.  Shisha international is packed full of all things smoking.  From big glass bubblers, to hookahs, to sneak-a-tokes to fancy wooden pipes, to shisha, etc.  S.I. pretty much has it all.  I went in to get some hookah tobacco and found they had a wide variety of flavors and brands.  Since I don't have much to compare to I don't know if the prices were too high or low but I paid 10 bucks for a big pack of melon shisha, which seemed pretty reasonable.  The one employee there was knowledgeable and very friendly.  Shisha seems like the place for all your smoking needs.

Go here if you don't smoke marijuana but DO smoke tobacco.  They have so many really great and interesting looking pipes and bongs for smoking tobacco. Where I'm from in Kentucky we totally smoke tobacco out of dragons.

So this kid the other day, looked about NYU age, asked me where this place was, and for the first time, I felt like I knew something about the head-shop scene in NYC, and I felt mad old, but thats despite the point. This place is pretty awesome. I generally go to browse more than buy, since they're kinda dicks when it comes to pricing. I try to bargain, but I kind of suck at it. I reccommend an ADS if you're trying to drop some money. Best for the price, better than the RooR in my opinion. Oh, awesome selection of blunt type stuff, which is great.

Before, I would just tell my friends to go into the piercing shops near West 4th for a cheap pipe. Now I've been converted!My friends and I stumbled into this place on a night out.  What caught my attention were the variety of pipes, water pipes, bubblers and vaporizers in the store's display. I was amused when, even before I stepped in, facts that I was unsure of regarding a vaporizer were nicely answered by a man who happened to be smoking outside. Little did I know that he worked there. I went inside just to window shop and my friends and I ended up walking out with a pipe and two cigars!First of all, the people who manned the store are very knowledgeable and friendly.  They fielded every question I had about percolators, different pipe styles, the benefits of a single and double bubbler. I learned enough to make the right decision on a future buy.  The selection inside the store is overwhelming to me. There's a back section and the walls are lined with different pipes, hookahs, water pipes, blunts, rolling papers. One of the friends I had with me bought a triple glass bubbler, with color changing glass for a good price.  Very happy with that purchase. My feeling: I've finally found a smoke shop in New York that I'll regularly visit. My suggestion to you: If you're looking for smoking paraphernalia to invest in so that it will last a while and work well, this is the place to shop.

The day I walked in was the day I had to stop putting tar in my lungs.I was sick for a month now and I was certain smoke was putting my health at a serious risk. But I still love too and have had many slip ups as my recovery continues. I digress.Shisha is the Mecca for smokers of all kinds from pipes to papers to hookahs they have truly beautiful pieces. Thats what she said.I digress.I went into Shisha for a vaporizer and was schooled on them. I made a very wise choice because the staff was intelligent, informative and cool.I got better, still getting better all thanks to a smoke shop that also sells the ill na na jumpoff pipes and a healthier alternative.Thank you Shisha.
