a smoke shop folks, complete with window full of water pipes.  feels a *bit* (but just a bit) less collegiate than other similar shops, but maybe that is just because of the block it is on.

This shop specializes in hookahs and other smoke-related items, which is why I go there to buy soaps and candles!! Hehe.I'm not kidding, I have no interest in their primary items, but they have a fantastic selection of pretty soaps and candles that are priced at a third of what you'd pay elsewhere.Go there for purdy the soaps!

Fairly decent and artful selection, though a bit pricey.  I perfer their candle selection where the only other place in my limited experience was Gramercy Flowers.

There's a good number of, ahem, glass-focused tobacco shops in the area, but this is really the best place. The owner is an aficionado for sure. Ask him about any of the products and you'll quickly realize that he loves what he sells and can tell you more about them than most other glass-and-tobacco shop proprietors. His collection of glass apparatus is one of the largest, but at the same time has he some of the best pricing on them. And the owner is just a straight up nice guy. No hard-sell or up-sell, tell him what you're looking for and he'll try to find you something that matches what you need. The Blue Nile is great.

I liked my experience here.. staff was friendly and helpful. they gave me a good deal on hoohak pips as well. Since I don't know much about the tobacco.. can't comment on that much. I'll recommend people to this place if you are into hookah..
