Absolutely delicious in every sense of the word. There are not enough creperies in NY, and this is probably the best one out of all of them! Excellent for a full meal or just coffee and dessert, but be forewarned, it's not the healthiest choice. However, I don't believe in healthy eating when I go out for something this decadent, so who really cares??

Salmon, mushroom and cheese crepe was very delicious. This is a good place to hit up on a weekend afternoon and sit outside. The service is exceptional, very impressed with this Russki place. One warning though - do not order a hookah from this place as they have no clue how to do it nor do they know that it should be cleaned, once in a while.Salmon, mushroom and cheese crepe was very delicious. This is a Russian restaurant made in a good French tradition. Fusion of Russian and French food that completes a beatiful decore of the place will make your evening romantic and fary tale like.I had my 25th Birthday party there, where I completely booked it for my party, it fits 110 people and considering exceptional service - it is a dream come true when it comes down to food, service and decore

I used to love this place. They used to sell the best crepes you could feel the taste of those you may try only in Paris.I do not know what happened. I guess chief is tired or replaced....Service is very good. Staff is friendly and helpful.Nice decorOverpriced

I've been here twice and the first time was a lot better. Both times I ordered the scallop with butter garlic sauce. The first time I had it, it was like crack. SO good I didn't have enough! I also got the nutella crepe with ice cream! also crack lol. The second time I ordered the scallops again, this time there was this lingering oceany taste and too much garlic and butter flavor that made me cringe. This time I just had a chocolate crepe since they ran out of nutella, but it was still good. Although I much rather of had nutella ;(

I have passed by XO Creperie since it opened and never went in until recently. I went with a friend on the fourth of July, it was, at best, at half capacity. I had a White Russian and bananas foster crepe (outstanding), my friend had some sort of beef and vegetable crepe that was delicious. It is a cozy, warm, very European feel to it which suits the neighborhood. The staff was very friendly (though, admittedly, if my dinner guest hadn't been fluent in Russian, we may have had some communication issues). The coolest part of XO Creperie is one small detail that I will not reveal here just so I do not ruin it for you-- but I assure you, when you see it you will understand why I like this place so much. Then again, I'm a big nerd so what I think is so neat, you may find terribly kitschy.

Excellent restaurant....superb food. Its a really nice setting, clean and well decorated. The menu is very interesting....all the dishes are on a crepe. For example, I ordered a mixed seafood dish (shrimp, scallops, octopus, etc.) with red sauce, and it came on a crepe. It was really delicious. I tried some of the other people's dishes too and they were all very tasty, and they have a menu to accommodate for all - chicken dishes, seafood dishes, meat dishes, vegetable dishes, etc...all on a crepe. And dessert - unbelievable - we had a crepe with hazelnut butter (nutella....mmmmmm) and a flaming fruit filled crepe with ice cream on top - yes it was on fire. My baby brother was with us (he's batman in my pic) and he was kind of misbehaving and finally at one point I told him that he needs to sit in his seat because its the rule here and if he doesn't the waiter is going to call the police. My brother looked over in the direction of the waiter and I guess the waiter overheard and gave my brother this funny authoritative look and my brother immediately jumped in his seat and sat the rest of the time. I thought that was funny. When we finished, as we were walking out, my brother approached the waiter and said "I'm sowy."

On a beautiful Saturday afternoon, my parents and I were wandering around Brighton Manhattan Beach, and decided to come to XO Creperie because my mother had seen a commercial on HTB. Situated on the second floor, we chose to sit outside facing the breezy bay. I ordered a tuna tartar, my mom ordered a duck salad, and my dad ordered a risotto with wild rabbit. All the dishes came out at different times, and were designed to be shared. The tuna tartar was mediocre. It was smothered with a teriyaki sauce, with cucumber slices swimming in it. The salad was large, and tasty, but the duck was quite dry. The risotto with wild rabbit was gross. No seasoning or flavor to the risotto, and my dad wondered whether they replaced the wild rabbit with chicken. For dessert, my mom received an oversized cappacino, and I ordered a black currant tea that tasted like regular english breakfast. We shared an extremely thin crepe with (frozen, definitely not fresh) mixed berries. Our strapping young Russian waiters were very attentive... a little too attentive, now that I think about it... almost hovering. I'm not particularly used to this type of service. I probably wouldn't come back.

I have a lot to say about this place since I have been here dozens of times- you're not Tavern on Green so enough with the mandatory coat check- the waiters are like programmed zombies walking around spilling everything in your lap. every time i have been here, I left with a present in the form of a stain from my waiters. However, they are fairly attentive.- the food is a solid 4 and has been pretty consistent for years - atmosphere: romantic, unique and great for big groups- this isn't really a French creperie, more like a Russian restaurant trying to pass off for one by putting everything in a crepe- read the bill carefully and don't be surprised if you see a service fee and a gratuity. Russians often feel they deserve both - one for waiters and one for the owners.
