Not just a bar, this is a great brunch spot.  The food is solidly good, and the price is unbeatable.  The staff is pleasant and very friendly, the decor is tasteful, and the space can accomodate large groups without being pushed up against other diners.  Now the outside seating area is heated for the winter.  It's gold.  Go.  :)

You know, it's really more of a 3.75 star establishment, but I'll give it the full 4...The owner was SOO nice.  My wife and I had just moved to the neighborhood...we had SO much drama surrounding our move ( a fire in our home in Chicago in June, living in a hotel for the last month we lived in Chicago, nightmarishly bad movers )...all we wanted was a nice little local place for breakfast.  We walked up 6th Ave to Flatbush...took a left...and were taken in by the sign sitting out front on the street...at 8am..."Happy Hour Mon-Fri 4-7pm"We like Happy Hour...and we like breakfast...we wanted to see how they worked together.The owner was working the register...and he knew just about everybody that walked in the door.  Being that there's a police precinct right around the corner, it didn't take long to figure out that most of the clientele at that time of day were cops.Anyway, we ordered some breakfast sandwiches to go...and some coffee...The owner was just gushing about how great his restaurant is, and we should wander around to check out the downstairs.We went downstairs, and realized rapidly that by day, this place is a mild-mannered sandwich shop...but by night, the rock out a full menu, a full bar, and full service, just in the back...AND the downstairs...WOW!Separate bar...nice atmosphere...it was really cool!We went back up...and he asked us if we went all the way down to check out the patio.We were like..."what patio?"He sent us BACK downstairs to take a peek out the back door!OH MY GOD!What a wonderful outdoor patio area!  It was freakin' huge!So, we vowed to go back during the happy hour.We did...the food was very tasty...nothing earth shattering, but very tasty.The service was wonderful and very friendly...and the beverages were cold, alcoholic, and cheap.We will be going here as often as possible!

Hands down the greatest coffee I have ever had...EVER!Hands down the greatest vegetarian sandwich I have ever had...THE DREAM TEAM! (3 Kinds of Cheese,Tomato,Pesto,and Fresh Mozzarella)Everyone must go here immediately.

I went here on a Saturday for brunch, and I think it's my new favorite brunch place. The garden in the back is beautiful, with tables shaded by huge umbrellas, and a garden with a little waterfall. Not to mention the prix fixe brunch is only $9.50 and includes a beverage, a starter of a muffin or yogurt with granola, plus the actual meal. The place wasn't crowded at all, but the service was great and very attentive. I would recommend this place to anyone!

The restaurant itself is pretty nice. It makes an attempt at cozy with splashes of middle eastern decor. The patio is large, spacious and lovely. the downstairs bar area looks like a nice place to host an event. Apparently they have hookah too. Everyone is nice and makes an effort to be attentive, but when it comes down to it you really just want good food quickly. The food was a little subpar, (although my friends seemed pleased with their dishes) and it took over 30 minutes to arrive. That kinda ruined it for me. I don't enjoy waiting and waiting for disappointment. Maybe i ordered the wrong thing??

I like this spot a whole bunch, from big meals outdoors to sandwiches for lunch.The owner is friendly, the prices are fine, so I have no qualms about coming here to dine.I feed myself, I feed my help, and then praise the chef, right here on Yelp.

Came here on a date for din din.Apparently there was a private party going on downstairs/the (really cutsey) outdoor patio which delayed our food arrival.  However, judging by other yelpers,  party or not, or food probably would've come out in over 30 minutes.I ordered the chicken tortellini and a Caesar salad and my date ordered the Kobe burger which he was really looking forward to.  Unfortunately he took one bite in it and was shocked at the pinkness of it-he ordered the burger medium well and apparently that's not how a medium well burger is supposed to look (I don't eat cow, so I wouldn't know HAHA).  He was hesitant in returning the burger because he (and I) were afraid it was going to take another 30 minutes for his food to come out.  While he was waiting I indulged in my pasta dish which was actually pretty good.  Of course I shared with him too!Jordan, our newbie server (why do we always get stuck with the new servers?!?!?!?) albeit forgetful and sometimes overbearing, seemed really quite sweet.  She probably won't last long in the restaurant business.It would be interesting to go back for brunch/ breakfast....
