I had one of the best coffees from here. That's probably really random, but just so you know I like my coffee black with ice and no sugar. Some coffees are bitter and kinda acidic (I don't know I'm no coffee coinnoissuer...) and I will have to add milk to that. This coffee was rich roasted and nutty flavored. Okay so besides the coffee... there is hookah here. I've yet to try it as mostly I've been to chareleston with my parents and family and though my parents smoked hookah here LOL I will not do that with my parents... (daughter humiliation!) But people here smoke hookah in the day even. On the patio, and I imagine the funny looks people strolling by give haha. Hookah is still kind of exotic in the US. I was excitied to find a hookah bar here in sc, now just have to find bubble tea!!

Yes, it's along the market, and it's a bit overpriced. But this cozy cafe just might brighten an otherwise grim stroll through the endless swarm of tourists. I haven't tried their sandwiches, though there are a few veggie options. It's probably the cheapest thing to eat for several blocks in all directions (unless you count Little Cricket). Service can be downright cold, but the coffee is hot hot hot. Middle Eastern music thrums from the speakers all day. They have a shelf full of hookahs in the corner (are people still allowed to smoke there?) and a courtyard for gawking at athletic socks + sandals and jorts walking by.
