This place moved to the center of Alston by the Sports Depot.  Great selection, really good prices, and the guy who owns it is sweet as anything.  Hope the store is open for ever. Also, the new place is not shady looking at all.  And I know shady.  I come from the streets and am shady as an oak tree.

Good shop if you need a pack of screens, or a new slide, or some unusual wraps. They sell a bunch of incense and bob marley gear in the front part of the store. You can go into the back room and look at pricy bowls and entry level water pipes. They sell vaporizers. You're better off getting that sort of stuff online, in my opinion. The people that work there are hyper paranoid and unfriendly... but hey, if you need a glass screen - there it is.More reasonably priced than Daddy's or whatever the hell it's called.

Ah Burried Treasure...  Always been there when I needed ya most.  For those that don't know, this is Boston ORIGINAL culture shop, I mean LONG before sugar daddy's came into the picture.  It has since moved location from the corner of Boylston St into the cut where it is truely mellow.  I went there the other day to get a new ceramic top to my roomates hookah, and once inside the memories (or lack there of) came swarming to my conscience.  Still rocking heavy reggae, still smelling like nog champa, still a heady heady vibe in square ass boston...

now THIS is what i'm talking about! buried treasures is kind of buried, down a side street past the fenway community health center. the random location kind of suits it, i think.it's very tiny inside but has a great selection. i am looking forward to returning when they get a few more pieces in to buy one. prices weren't bad at all, the smaller water pipes were around $45, and i expected to pay more than that in boston considering the availability of this type of stuff in the city. if you want to go all out, they had a massive water pipe with a skull with creepy red eyes on it in there that my boyfriend kept threatening to buy. when i think about the shops like this that i've visited in my life, the ones in boston are definitely the unfriendliest and most paranoid. i don't know if it's part of boston's puritanical culture or what, but it's very annoying. maybe they're operating under more restrictions or something. but what can you do. i definitely preferred this place to sugar daddy's. sugar daddy's makes me feel paranoid just being in there with their ID checks at the door and shit.

This place is small and not at all sketch if you are used to head shops.  Only weird thing is the dude behind the counter wears a number of cellphones on a belt around his waste.  Hmmmmm.... I wonder why.Haven't bought anything here though so I don't have a price quote.  I'd imagine it's rather expensive and due to size the selection of whatever you might be looking for cannot be very good.
