Cool and sexxy, this little lounge is a great place off the beaten path. It used to be called Goldfinger back in the day, but the new owners have updated the decor and dropped the attitude (mostly). Arrive early to avoid th ecover charge or get on one of the various promoters guest lists.

Ok so on girls night, we like to try different spots, veer away from the places we've already been to over and over.....so this night led us down the dark neighborhood streets to none other than.....Mood Lounge. And literally, it was in a neighborhood, inside an old house. I was so disappointed, b/c the website makes the place look so trendy and cute, but then you get there and WONK WONK........don't find it being so. The concept would have worked if they had more space to work with and were in a more central part of Atlanta. Their was NOWHERE to sit, the place was dead, and their was nobody inside except for like 15 people. That's sad on a Friday night, when that's all the crowd you're pulling in.On the way out though, I was talking to the "doorman" and he had said it is good on Tuesday nights, and that it'll probably get better on Fridays, but that they had previously been closed on Friday, so alot of folks probably don't know they're now open then. So that being said, I might give it another chance before completely writing it off my list, maybe try it on a Tuesday or another Friday down the line, but this night was so horrible it led us to leave and head to one of our other favorite spots.....SHOUT!!!! :)

3 1/2 stars really. Middle of buckhead so loved da area. Driving by da ginormous houses. Music was good. Place was really crowded. Drinks were good. Bartender lady hooked it up. I would say it possibly a pre game spot in a "home". I heard they had more places be4 but trying to change da area, but it was aiight.

So, I went here on Friday night for a friend's birthday, because she had rented out a VIP area, and was pleasantly surprised! Who knew there was a tiny little club tucked away in Buckhead? While I wouldn't head here on a normal night out in Buckhead, this is definitely a good alternative to heading all the way to Midtown when in the mood for a "club-kind-of-night".Although, I will say besides our party, the place was pretty dead, but maybe it got a little more crowded past 12:30 when we left and headed down the street to Fado's. Drinks are average price, I was expecting it to be much worse, and I even tried hookah for the first time - not that I will ever be trying it again - but at least I can now say I tried!

This is the funnest club I've been to here in the ATL so far. (I call it a club even though it's called a lounge.)I always have a great time. You have to get dressed up, though. Great dance music, beautiful people (not that I'm one of them, but let's be honest, that's what everyone looks for in nightlife, right?) Drinks are pricey, but the bartenders are nice. Also, what's up with the cover? You have to get on a "guest list" by going to their website that's been down for months. Be prepared to sweat your ass off after midnight. The dance floor gets PACKED. One other downer - there is only 1 bathroom until they open the downstairs area - which is usually later. So be prepared to wait in line forever- and don't forget that little travel roll of TP in your purse.

Pretty chill spot, it was decorated nice as well lots of places to sit and a big patio. A bit off the main path it was like some1 turned there house into a bar in the middle of a neighborhood but it was good. It is a late night spot bartender said so don't worry bout showing up till after 11ish.

I went on an Tuesday as i heard mood has a decent party on Tuesdays... What a dump. It was packed, had a sketchy crowd and it was impossible to get a drink. And a $20 cover?!?! Unacceptable. Do not go here unless you're desperate to go out on a Tuesday.

This wont be a good review, and ill update it when i go again.but here goes: its in a super weird again, a residential area.nice place to come on a Saturday to just dance.. and hang with friends.i only stayed in one area, so i have absolutely no idea what the other side of the lounge looks like. nothing super distinguishing from all the other similar type lounges in buckhead, but... if you go with friends you'll have fun.

Mood is in a House converted in to a Club....the only Lounging going on is on the out side patio...Cover ($20 for guys $10 for girls) and latter on it looked like some people where haveing truble getting in as a line developed...Downstairs there was a small area with a DJ (with him right in the middle ) with House music with a bar and a small area to dance...UPSTairs....BAr and the tiniest Vip/Bottle Section I've ever seen...good sized Dance floor...Above the upstairs is where the DJ is.... its almost a Invisible DJ which was bad cause that night they where doing a Spin off....would have been nice if they could interact with the crowd more....they basicly played top 20 hip hop stuff... which I like but they could have been more creative with the mixing...People! Great mix of beautiful people with a Splash of crazy local color...um I think the dress is called Atlanta style....

Who knew there was a happening party scene in Atlanta on a TUESDAY night? That's what I found here when I went. Apparently the cool kids already knew this was the place to be on the 2nd day of the work week, but I fell into it almost by accident.Don't let the name fool you, Mood is a club, not a lounge. It's a home that's been converted into a danceclub, in the middle of a neighborhood!(not sure what's up with all of these ATL clubs being Grandma's house redone).A warning though, you pay for it , a $10 cover, and a drink was $9. It all makes for an expensive night pretty quickly. The scene is a mix of college aged to older, Buckhead Glam to hip hop. The crowd was an attractive one, of an mtv/bravo reality casting type. The downside is that it's a destination parking can be a joke, if they didn't have valet, down right impossible. So in closing, a cool place, but pricey.
