First of all the pretty boy bouncer will only let you in if you let him Pocket $20 bucks from you. I literally saw this guy pocket $300 in 30 Minutes. They hold the line up making you think the club is packed when it is not.  They hate Asian People. I was trying to get in one night and the bouncer told me and my girl to wait then came to us 10 minutes later to tell us it was a private party which made no sense. This place might last a few more months but they owner is terrible and the bouncer at the front needs to be removed.  I was not sure but now that I read the comment about the club being raciest towards Asian people I agree. I am a white person and I could really see when Asian people came to the door they would have a weird look or not give them a full response to there question.

I must say this was one night club that was true to their word! Though partying on a Monday night isn't my usual style; I made it my style. The club offers free valet parking, ladies free til midnight, and free martinis for ladies until 1230. I was very, very surprised to see that the club actually fulfilled every single perk that was offered. Not only did I get in free, I partied like it was 1999! The music was upbeat, the drinks were tasty, and the staff was borderline friendly. I gave this club 3 stars, because it was just entirely to many females...my advice to the men if going on Mondays, take a female friend with you, and let her go to the bar to get you some free drinks...OKKKKKKK!

Went Friday May 8th and it was pretty good. The first time I went it was still transitioning from Lotus and needed a lot of work. Now its up and running.Pros: -Free parking in parking structure.- had a crowd but wasn't crowded. just right at around midnight when I showed up.-above average music. not straight top 40...or DJ Ipod. Wasn't anything that blew me away but I remember thinking it was pretty good.-have seperate techno room(I don't care for it but know some do).-overall set up is real nice. definitely going for the trendy look and does so pretty well. Has an upstairs.-multiple bars provide pretty fast access to dranks.-diverse mix. white/black/asian...unfortuantely few latinas... :( haha. -girl guy ratio was solid as well. You will find a handful of girls you fnd smokin fellas. guaranteed. Ladies, good looking guys like me are there so you are in luck too! ;)-drinks were typical club price but were strong. and came in a glass no plastic cups here.-lots of tables/couches/seating areas for people who want table service.Cons: -$20 cover is crazy and is the reason I've only been twice. $10 I can handle but $20 is steep. You might be able to do a guestlist before 11pm route. not sure, check website.-They are one of those spots that "creates" the line...mos def. Although if you are a  hot girl you can walk right in (which is fine by me). fellas expect to wait 10-15mins.-they enforce their dress code pretty hardcore. guy in front of me got shot down with sneakers.-the entire upstairs was 100% asian. seriously, they walked straight in and went upstairs and never came down. Similar to Primal...not sure what the deal is with the self segregation, but I'm not a fan. Get around and mingle people.-dance floor is kind of small. They have a table like up on the dancefloor for some reason and it just takes up lot of space. they need to axe that IMO. But its open enough in other areas that you can pretty much dance wherever.Overall its a good spot. If cover wasn't as much I'd go more often.  That being said I'll probably starting going more often this summer regardless. I have a friend that lives within walking distance(its at lindbergh)  so a heavy pre-game and small tap is doable. and there is a marta stop so I can pick up my car the next day easy.

This place is okay. I went this past Thursday for Southern Hospitality night. The crowd we saw last night was mostly older (25-40ish + some 50 year old guys drooling over the dancer--eww, lol). There are three main areas: the central bar/room, the upstairs balcony, and a side dance room. I liked the music in the central bar area, but the dance floor, if it could even be called that,  was smaller than my shower cubicle from the communal bathrooms of my freshmen year. At least with the shower cubicle, I didn't have a flow of people constantly bumping into me and my friends as they worked their way around the circular bar. Despite the lack of dance space, the music was pretty good, so I wondered why they played the same songs twice, which in my book is a big no-no. In the side dance room, the dj played a weird selection of bhangra and other Indian music mixed with the occasional Pitbull. We didn't stay too long. I did see a few hookahs for the clubbers if that's your thing (watch out for the mono and don't say I didn't warn you).Overall, it was not a truely horrible club (e.g. VIP and bottle service seemed alright, clean bathrooms, decent music, etc), but I wouldn't pay $10-15 to get in here. Guestlist is until 11:30 and we did just that. Also,  valet was bad (waited about an hour since they lost our ticket and my friend had to describe her car to them). Sorry, but I wouldn't come back anytime given the many other Atlanta club options.I liked this place.  Coming from San Diego this place really felt like it was a Southern California fancy club without all of the Southern California fancy douchebags.  Or Southern California fancy prices.  7 mixed drinks for $55 (including 3 Red Bull Vodkas)?  Yes please! The music was good...all though I wished that I could have checked out the "techno" room more in depth.  The main room had the typical Top 40/Rap/Mashup stuff going on which I don't really see as any sort of negative. Big clubs play that because thats what most people want to hear when they go out. Anyway, save your money on Friday nights! Sign up on the guest list and get there before or right at 11! You get in free. It's kind of dead but the place definitely picks up around 12:30.The new location of this club and new layout make this place better than the old location in downtown buckhead.. Better safer in my opnion also less police and riff raff hanging around outside, you wont get shot by some disgruntled member of Young Jeezy's crew outside this place.Came here on a Saturday night, the Asian door guy was very friendly and took care of my party, he also had told me it was too late to get in on the guest list and was very apolgetic that we had to pay 20 bucks each to get in this place. The decor and renovations done on this new space are terrific, seems more like a upscale apartment than the typical crappy nightclub exterior. Coming from NYC, I was impressed with these aspects of the club, the fact this  place is clean and there is no douche bag door guys gets a thumbs up from me. The downside here(there are a few) is the music was terrible, felt as though I was listening to a terrible top 40 station that only played lady Gaga/Britney Spears and some other terrible pop music songs. The lacking of either HipHop House music is a real downside for me. Maybe if I was 17 and trying to pick up a girl who just had her sweet 16  @ a Highschool dance or if I was looking to put on lip gloss and pick up guys Id enjoy hearing this Top Mix, could be this was a off night and the DJ was terrible. The circle bar in the middle of the main room is super cool, the bartenders here were very friendly and made a damn strong drink. Couple of Patrons later and the music seemed to drown out in the background while a few legions of slutty Southern girls showed up. Crowd here is very diverse, a nice mix where everyone seemed to be getting along and having a good time. The dancer on this particular night below the DJ booth was horrible, she looked like whitney Houston cracked out at the age of 22, not very hot and danced weird. Than some Israeli Harvey Milk started prancing around on the block as well, what a fool. Once these two cut there poor act, the place picked up a bit. The side house music room seems to be a mini club within a club. Better music, but way weirder people. Some fat meatball bumped into me on purpose because his wife was staring at me ( I didnt even  notice this unfold) but was tempted to give this clown a muay thai kick to the liver, the crowd was surrounding the bar(shocker) but werent even ordering drinks and it was like walking down Bourbon Street during Mardi Gras trying to get to the bar to order a drink. Disgusted went back to the other side of the club in the main and checked out the 2nd floor. The too floor of this place has a large bar, about 6 banquet tables (for bottle service) and a unisex bathroom(huge buyer of the restroom situation). Managed to hit on a few broads in the bathroom line and also got to survey the crowd dancing and crowding the bar on the main floor from owl perch on the second floor. The waitresses here(hot and scantily clad) were numerous and each were worthy of being first string quarterbacks. Except for this one scare crow looking lady who was about 50, prancing around thinking she is still 25 and hot. I'd definitely come back next time I'm in Atlanta, outside of the music, i like this place and think when filled with the right talent pool it would be quite a good scene. Worst case, have a few drinks, grab a few numbers than head to the Pony for some afterhours. After that you better be slaying some broad in your rental or slamming quesadilla's while laughing at Leroy in a old School Chevy from the drive thru window at Taco Cabana.Salsa night was fun, but the place got crowded very, very quickly. Salsa dancing doesn't work so well considering the good dancers needed a 10 foot radius to do all the moves in. I did have fun at the free lesson, and getting in for free certainly helped. The space is fun and decorated nicely and the well drinks aren't half bad. I just wish there was more dance floor and less bar - the bar takes up more than half of the main room! The new Tongue and Groove is an artfully designed upgrade from its former digs yet its still the same hotspot. The bartenders and staff are by far the best in the city making excellent drinks with minimal wait. The resident DJs and several renowned guest DJs always keep the tunes pumpin and the dance floor packed in the club's two distinctly different rooms. Parking is never a problem. There is ample parking in the nearby parking deck at minimal or no cost or the option of complimentary valet every night.Tongue and Groove is my fav spot in the city and I recommend everyone check it out, you won't regret it!

Lovely space. Front door guy was a little aloof and LA, but whatever. Bartenders downstairs were friendly. Bartenders upstairs (the tall hot blonde ones) were more interested in getting hit on than serving drinks and getting a good tip for actual service.Music was awesome. Great DJ last night. :)I knocked them a star because they don't carry Fernet on the shelf. What kind of full service bar is this place, anyway? Get with the program - Fernet is making a comeback baby!
