It's pretty average. I had the gyro. I was expecting a nice, hot gyro; but it came out lukewarm. It was okay. For the gyro, you only have 2 choices of meat: chicken and beef. The people there were very courteous. But the food I ordered was okay.

The folks running this place are very nice and I could tell they were really trying hard - I liked that even the cook came out afterwards to see how we liked our food. But my food was just ok. Hindsight, I do wish I tried everyone else's food so I could write a more complete review - after all, this was our 3rd Cobb UYE so by now we should be ok about trying each other's food, right? :)I decided to try their Chicken Shawarma Gyro for $6.99 which came with a choice of fries, chips, or rice - I got the rice. The food took 30 minutes to arrive so I expected hot fresh food but instead got a cold chicken gyro. Jang C's was slightly better b/c his was lukewarm. The taste was pretty good but I think I got spoiled from Mediterranean Bakery. I did like the yellow rice though - very fragrant, too. Daniel B his co-worker seemed the most happy with their meal - they both got the daily special which not only looked good, it was probably the best value, too. For $7.99, they got chicken curry, salad, rice, pita bread. I'd definitely come back - and probably try either the falafel sandwich or the chicken curry. And FYI - all food here is Halal and Kosher.

The employees are very nice and I hope this place stays open. I usually don't see many (any) customers when i go (i've even been here on a Friday evening). Their food is SOOOO good. So far I've tried: Chicken Kabobs- my favorite and probably the quickest I've eaten anything that wasnt dessertFalafel/Hummus/Baba Ganoosh Combo- served with pita and is a winnerChicken Curry- very goodI hope to try everything on the menu

Wow--this food is incredible! I had the veggie combo, which was falafel, hummus, baba ghanoush, lettuce and tomatoes, and pita. This would be a great appetizer to share. My husband ordered the shawarma and said it was amazing. We'll definitely be back--I want to try the hookah one evening :)

Kebabs, Gyros whatever you call them are fantastic at this place. I have yet to find better in this city (TBH I haven't been trying that hard) The hot mint tea is a nice touch and the family that run this place are very warm and welcoming. Now to get 5 stars would just need to find that Donar kebab from my drunken London Pub crawling days. !

Went to lunch at this restaurant with a few Cobb Yelpers and was pleasantly surprised. The menu touts the food as "fresh, homemade Mediterranean cuisine." I ordered the daily special, which happened to be Chicken Curry (also had the choice of beef). Two pieces of chicken (bone-in) served with yellow rice, pita bread, and a small house salad with mint dressing for $7.99. The meal was pretty good. My only complaint was that the chicken had too many small bones in it. Loved the rice and pita bread. Other Yelpers at the lunch got the Gyros and Koftas (looked like some sort of sausage wrap) and all the food looked good. The people working at the restaurant were very nice and courteous. You order up front and then go sit at your table and wait for your order to be brought out to you. The cafe has two flat screen TVs and also various grocery-type items you can buy at the register, such as mint leaves, canned coconut milk, and tobacco. Not a bad place to grab lunch.BTW, you may want to check out Addy C's review of this place when she gets it up as she took pictures of all our food.
