A very cool mall. Great discount stores (Off Saks, Neiman, Sears outlet, Bose), a Bass Pro Shoppes, medieval jousting, and skateboarding. What more can a guy ask for from a mall?

I really want to like Discover Mills more than I do, mostly because it's so close to home. But it's a strange mall and doesn't have all the regular mall stores. Stores come and go and there are some neat stores you don't see in other malls. We mostly come for a quick bite to eat and the movie theater. I often see mall walkers on weekday evenings, which is a great idea because the layout works really well for that.

Pros:1. Lots of stores to choose from2. Large Food Court, if you get hungry3. Movie Theater on Site4. Medieval Times in walking distance5. Drinks available at Jillians (Similar to Dave Busters)6. Neiman Marcus - Last Call7. Too many shoe stores to count8. Skate ParkCons:1. If you live inside the perimeter, its a long drive2. Parking is crazy on the weekends3. Beware of those little booths in the isle, people hound you4. Easy to get lost, the place is hugeWhat do you think?

WHY OH WHY DID THE REALLY AWESOME VIDEO GAME STORE HERE DISAPPEAR! SHAME ON YOU DISCOVER MILLS!Your only saving grace, i.e. the second star you really don't deserve, is the weekend thing where the shelter comes with all the animals. Seriously there was this amazing awesome wonderful video game store, much like http://www.yelp.com/bi..., but now it's gone gone GONE. What a waste.

I was a little disappointed by this mall because I had been to some of their other malls (Arundel Mills, Potomac Mills) and found this one to be a little lacking. There are some pluses to it: the skate park, the movie theater inside of the mall and the neon golf park. However, I didn't see too many stores I wanted to go in to. Some Popular chain stores just weren't there. I was disappointed that there wasn't a Cajun place at the eatery but it is a mall and they do sell things so it may be worth your while to go shopping there. I however will venture a few miles down 85 to gwinnett mall for my shopping needs.

Teeny bopper central on a Friday night of course.... young girls prancing around in high heels and jeans 3 sizes too small.. while groups of young boys roamed the mall looking for said girls.... The only reason while I would go to this mall are...Kenneth Cole (the store prices are even cheaper than the outlets)Neimus Marcus/Needless markup's the boyfriend would say...Sak's off the 5thas well as a few other stores... Most of the clothing stores in here were Forever21, Papaya, Charlotte russe type stores...you know places to get cute lil' going out tops.. and you wash them and then they fall apart.. If Your familiar with Great Lakes Crossing Mall ( Auburn Hills, Mi) Discover mills is like a watered down version of it.But on the entertainment side there is the skate park if that's your thing... Medieval times and Jillians. if You have kids there is also a glow in the dark put put golfing.. and even a golf simulation game for adults.

I love the stores at Discover Mills, but I will review those separately. The review for the actual mall should be about its layout, accessibility, parking, store combinations, etc. And on those aspects, Discover Mills fails. The parking is consistently abysmal, the signage around the mall is covered by foliage, there are not even half as many bathrooms as there should be for a mall this size, and the stores are an odd accumulation of discount retailers and community organizations. The circular set up makes it impossible to quickly go to two stores located on opposite ends of the mall. You always have to walk alllll the way around, making it impossible to just stop in and pick something up quickly. The food court is also an odd mix, with very limited seating.

A suburban oasis. Ok, fine. I've never actually lived in any suburbs. But I can imagine this being one for the sixteen year old, bored kids that live down the road. There's even a skate park.Ever seen a group of friends, and you think, "whoa, they all know each other?" That's what the selection of stores is like here. Just a very strange, strange assortment. There's a Saks Fifth Avenue Off 5th, but it's down the hall from wear-once fashion Forever 21. Ross and Neiman Marcus Last Call hang out here. And let's not forget about good 'ole Atlanta Piano World and fish-friendly Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World. . . Ohh, and of course the store that sells all medical scrubs and the African art gallery!Discover Mills is also home to the wildly popular (at least in my mind) Medieval Times and 'arcade with alcohol' Jillian's.And the next time you want to give in to your mid-life crisis urge to finally pierce your belly button, head to the Piercing Pagoda, or need to pick up a new mattress at the aptly named Mattress Expo, head to this bizarre montage of stores up I-85.

Discover Mills definitely has to be the weirdest mall I've ever been in especially since it has a Medieval Times on site. Who really goes to that stuff besides tourists? However, if you're looking for decent discount shopping somewhat outside the Perimeter, Discover Mills is the place to be. This mall is filled with discount/outlet shops. Most noteworthy are the Saks 5th Avenue and Neiman Marcus outlets. If you're looking for a good deal on designer clothing, definitely check out those 2 places. However, since I'm a cheap ass, $60 for a Ed Hardy A-Line shirt or $250 for shoes is still ridiculous. It might be a good deal for designer clothing, but it's still way to damn expensive. If you're looking for cheap, awful teeny-bopper fashions, Discover Mills is your place too. It's littered with that crap. Along with many other interesting stores like the Egyptian fashion store that sells hookahs. The reason why I go to Disover Mills is because they have the only Sanrio store in Atlanta. I'm a total nut for anything Hello Kitty. I just wish they sold more of the appliances. My dream kitchen is filled with every Hello Kitty appliance ever made.

Discover Mills reminds me of Katy Mills outside of Houston, Texas. Oh look at that! Both names include "Mills." A-ha, the two dilapidated malls must be owned by the same company, with the same cookie cutter mall plan. * yawn *
