I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to King Tut's Lounge. With plenty of comfy, group seating and Egyptian themed decor the lounge is very pleasant. The hookahs are fairly priced, and there is an array of flavors to choose from. No food is served, but there are some desserts (the rice pudding is delicious).I found the servers to be extremely friendly. My hookah was brought out promptly, and I was given several coals over the course of my stay.My only disappointment was that the "dj" sometimes changed songs before they completed, making for somewhat choppy music. The songs he played were tasteful for the style of the lounge, though.

If you ever thought to yourself, "You know what Orlando is missing, an Egyptian Themed Club," you would be sadly mistaken as King Tut's Lounge over on Alafaya and Curry Ford, has you "walking like an egyptian."With a large tapestry of King Tutankhamen's head hanging overhead as you enter, King Tut's Lounge, is a new Egyptian-inspired hangout in East Orlando, complete with belly dancing, food and plenty of fun. It's a large establishment, downstairs featuring groups of benches, chairs, and a pool table. Upstairs is another lounge area with brightly colored benches lining the walls and the main attraction is the hookah. While King Tut's Egyptian-inspired decor may be a bit over the top, there aren't that many Hookah bars, especially in this end of town.

As hookah shops are spreading around town, this one comes with a theme straight from ethnic Egyptian coffee shops including the waitress dresses.Weekdays are fun and laid back and weekends are packed because of the belly dancer. Service is slow on their busy nights but the atmosphere is entertaining.
