Greek and Lebanese food with a decidedly more Middle Eastern flavor. This place could be good. It has potential. One of the dining rooms is a cool little place to sit on low couches. They have an interesting menu. They have hookah's and some outdoor seating. The Kebabs are only OK though. Nothing special. No interesting spices. No sumac on the side. I didn't try the more interesting eggplant dishes or any desserts. However, the main problem was that the service was horrible. There were two servers. One was working pretty hard. The other chatting on the phone all day. Alas, I got the chatter. He simple couldn't be bothered to help me with little things like ordering, paying, etc. And the boss was goofing off telling him jokes during the whole time I was trying to get service. Seems unlikely that I will ever get around to checking out the other dishes.Gyros have melted cheese on them which is weird to me.

I've eaten lunch there a few times in the past few years. My friends and I always choose to sit outside just because none of us likes to eat in the dark; also, some of my friends smoke so sitting outside is just perfect for our group. To be perfectly honest, food there has never been the driving factor for us; what counts is the location - close to home and work for most of us, the outside seating, decent house wine and a decent beer selection, and the fact that my smoking friends can smoke (outside). Last time I went there (about a week ago), my friends and I actually thought that the food has improved. We had the combo appetizer (grape leaves, feta, hummus, baba ganouj, tabbouleh, a few olives, falafel) --- everything tasted good to us; some of us also ordered gyros, grilled veggies and shish kebabs. Veggies were the only thing that was blah. Everything else was seasoned well -- nothing unusual and interesting, but it tasted good to us.The cafe is not a gastronomical destination, it's more of a local hang out. I would never recomend it to out -of-towners. The food is ok; it's not bad - you won't get food poisoning; however, their restroom makes me wonder about their kitchen. They do have a sign outside saying that they are moving soon; not sure where to; hopefully, somewhere cleaner.
