D'Vine Reviews

This is a great casual place in South Beach with very friendly owners. Ask for Rosa or Claudia. They have a full bar, 50 hookah flavors and you can even surf the web from their laptops or bring your own. I counted something like 30 different beers. It's quiet until about 11pm, then it gets busy. Drinks aren't watered down like the other bars in SoBe. They're going to have another more "ultralounge" place on Lincoln in February.

Nice, somewhat cheap drinks and free internet/laptops. Not crowded at all on a Tuesday night.

This is a great place to hang out and people watch. The couches are really comfortable and the selection of tobaccos for the hookahs is pretty diverse. The drinks were also fairly reasonable especially for the bottles of wine. One recommendations if you are with a party of girls only try to get a table that is not directly on the sidewalk as some people (drunk tourist) tend to make crass comments. This was a really nice find and was enjoyable after a filling dinner.

Amazing place to hang out...I spent Saturday evening here after having dinner at a nearby restaurant. We had to be put on this waiting list and waited at the bar inside for like 20 minutes until one of the couches became available. Everyone seemed to like spending time outside...By midnight...it was packed...both outside and inside. We had the craziest hooka there and loved their long island ice tea as well as the apple martini and frapuccino. Great drinks and great atmosphere all around. I would definitely come back here for an evening of fun with friends. But my favorite part of this experience was the music...I adore Arabic/turkish music...

This is one of my favorite places on Lincoln Rd. to come with friends after dinner to have a drink or two, chill on one of the couches, smoke a bit of hookah and wind down. As others have mentioned, their drinks are reasonably priced, especially for SOBE, I found their staff to be attentive and some are extremely knowledgeable about hookah and the different tobaccos that are available. You can get a wide range of tobaccos in different price ranges and flavors. If you're looking for something particular, ask the staff as they can help out with this. Also know that some flavors are smoother than others and some can be a bit harsh to smoke. If you're not used to smoking at all, you may want to go with something a bit more mild. They have options such as a hollowed out watermelon in place of the base, as well as an option to use wine in place of the water in the base. They'll give each person in your party a plastic mouthpiece so you don't have to place your mouth on the same tube as everyone else has. In all, a unique place to come to relax and unwind, have a bevvy, smoke a hookah, have good conversation and watch the people go by on Lincoln Rd.

Relatively affordable drinks - $4 for beer (which is alright by South Beach standards, and Zeke's, a few blocks down may have them cheaper by a dollar) and $8.50 for mojitos of all types! I had the mango mojito, and damn, I loved the minty mango flavor that really bursts out more than starbursts (yah I know... lame comparison, and there's no fake food flavoring here)! I have not tried out the hookahs, the food (crepes, tapas, etc), and the wines (they even have wine tasting). Another drink I also tried was the Kinky Kiwi, and that was very strong, and just okay. I wouldn't order that again. But, I would definitely come back for the mojito!Service was good. Atmosphere was alright - not creative, but it's nice.EDITED: I made a second trip, and this time in the daytime. The mango mojito was just not the same since the bartender is different... I'm hoping the other one is still there in the evenings!EDITED: The Hookahs are not very well maintained, according to a friend of mine who's an expert with that. It seems like the Hookahs are more popular at nearby Deco Drive Cigars even though they may be pricier over there and have less flavors to choose from. Additionally, the tequeños are Colombian style, not Venezuelan (boo). The drinks are good, and I think I like the passion fruit mojito more than the mango mojito now. Also their Lemonade alcoholic drink is good, bigger, and cheaper. Nice lounge atmosphere though.

Yeah, love this place ... real nice spot to chill with a girl or a group of friends. Try the outdoors, drinks are moderately prices for Sobe and gotta have the hookah and try the one that has the wine inside instead of water !!! what a buzzz, you'll love it. Last time had a watermelon pipe on a watermelon base hookah and it is to die for! As other say, it gets packed on Fri and Sat nights, so get there earlier or after hitting clubs ...

I second pretty much everything Courtney R had to say about this place. Great location right where people are constantly walking by (even on a Tuesday evening), incredibly reasonable drink prices ($8.50 for a mojito, whereas many other SoBe bars will charge nearly twice that), and extensive hookah tobacco flavor selection. One kind of funny thing was that our waiter discouraged us from getting the 'plain' flavors (which were $15) and suggested the specialty ones instead (which were $25), and then when we ordered the Cream Soda (albeit an odd flavor for a hookah), he gave us a funny look, walked in to the restaurant, and came back 5 minutes later asking if we were sure we wanted that flavor, because no one ever gets it. We went with his alternative suggestion, the Orange Cream, which was fine (pretty mild). I can't say much about the food because all I ordered was the house salad, but it was really good, light and lightly dressed, perfect after having lots of heavier Cuban food!

This is a pretty nice place to hang out in while at Lincoln Road. It tends to get pretty packed and they try to squeeze in as many tables as possible, so you kind of feel like sardines in a can. I personally don't like Hookah, but my friends loved it.

We stopped here of an apple no thrills hookah. The service was fantastic, our hookah would not smoke that well, so the waiter took it to the back, filled it with iced water and it worked really well after that. He also was very attentive throughout our stay and refilled out coils which was very nice. However, I felt almost no apple flavor in my hookah, granted there was plenty of tobacco. The hookahs start at $18 and go to $100. Though, had much better hookah before, I would come back for the service and the ambiance in the patio area where they play Turkish music and have cute weaved couches and pillows.

Other than the warm weather and the beach, D'Vine was my favorite part of vacation. It is a fantastic hookah lounge on Lincoln Road, obviously with outdoor seating available. It can get really crowded, especially on Friday and Saturday nights, but me and the bestie got there about 930pm on Saturday night and we were able to snag a table outside. The service was awesome, our waiter was great and the hostess came by twice to make sure we were doing good. For drinks I got a really strong rum and diet coke and a drink I can't remember the name of but it was like a mimosa except with something else in it and even better. Bestie got a Kinky Kiwi...it was bright green, and I mean BRIGHT green. I should mention they were both loaded with alcohol. For the hookah, we settled on a specialty hookah...Sex on the Beach. It was infused with vodka, which combined with our drinks made our buzz....well...pretty fucking awesome. And the quality and life of the hookah itself was great as it lasted the two of us, who take long inhales, over 2 hours. It was an absolutely fantastic 2.5 hours spent here and while it was expensive for us, the prices for South Beach seemed pretty reasonable. I'd come back to South Beach just for this place!

Fantastic spot for lounging outside people watching and smoking some really good sheesha.Prices actually were cheaper than I was expecting. Seeing as though I was paying $20 for mojitos in 8oz plastic cups around South Beach, I was pleasantly surprised that they charged $25 for their hookahs, and they came many, many times to adjust the tobacco and charcoal. In Boston, you pay more for that, but not at D'Vine.I'm an avid hookah enthusiast, and I'm intrigued by the whole smoking out of a piece of fruit thing, but it just seems like novelty to me. I can't imagine the smoke is that much better out of a watermelon or canteloupe, but hell, I could be dead wrong about that. It definitely isn't worth $70, that's for sure. I'll pay $5 for a watermelon and do it myself at home!So yeah, it was a great way to end the night. Lincoln Road Mall has some mighty interesting characters roaming around, that's for sure..
