Amazing food! Amazing Desserts! Chicken Kabobs are on fire!!! They recently updated the decor with counches and lounges and its a full blown hookah louneg aswell as restaurant. They new Night manager (who is their cousin I think) has totally revamped this placed to another level. Great mood music, amazing ambiance, and the traditional amazing homemade food still is there! Never regret going there.

So...my boyfriend and I were FINALLY able to try this place. Inside, its decorated simply. You might think the food won't be good and you may start to think you've made a mistake. BUT WAIT!!! Order something! The food is FABULOUS!!! We had the shawarma sandwich, the lentil soup and the hummus...DELICIOUS!! Today, we made a vow to come here more often!!Oh...and I didn't even mention the service. The staff, which consists of (I presume) the owners, were super nice and helpful. They also have Hookahs available. If you like Middle-Eastern and Greek cuisine, try this place!!

It is a great spot to grab lunch in the fiu/westchester area. The place is super casual - so you can just walk and order to eat in or take out. The food was fresh and tasty and very reasonably priced (they have an FIU discount which makes the prices even better). The deserts are great too...the baklava was delicious. The only that I didn't like is the parking lot - be sure to park in high ground...I was parked a few rows in and after the 30 minute rain storm I had to walk in water above my ankles to get to my car. I may have lost a pair of shoes but it was yummy lunch!

This is actually my girlfriend and I's (is that correct punctuation?) favorite restaurant. Generally because it is literally 5 minutes away from us, the prices are good, and we love Middle Eastern food. I've pretty much been to every Middle Eastern place in Miami/South Beach. I've  had everything on the menu and have no complaints. Their chicken platter and falafel sandwich is the best in Miami. I'll break it down why:Chicken platter: The chicken is perfectly seasoned and you can actually see the seasoning go 1/4 inch through the meat which means real flavor. I love the little almonds they have in the rice which a lot of places do the same thing, so I won't say that part is anything special. They give you this garlic yogurt mixture on the side that is awesome which main reason why I think this is the best chicken platter (Middle Eastern) in the area. The falafel are made fresh at the spot. Generally everything else you order seems like they make large batches every couple of hours or so. The sandwhich is wrapped perfectly which is an art in itself. The falafels have a great taste taste to them and is just a little better than the Daily Bread's (in Coral Gables). They actually have an award for Best Baklava and it is the best. But you may not notice the wrapper it comes in. It is actually from a company called Shatila's and actually there are 2 other Middle Eastern places in the area that sell the same Baklava. So I don't know if that's fair or not, but I still love the place anyway.

Such a great place! You can get a good, healthy, home made, filling, and exciting full meal in 20 mins for under $10.00. The owners will make whatever combinations you wants, and they make the best hummus, salad, and fresh falafel! Definitely prefer this over any other restaurant in the FIU area.

I had their salad, very good! Definitely does not need any dressing because they put a lot of herbs and vegetables. Very flavorful -- Again, their hummus was great. No complaints! I just had the chicken kabob platter for lunch -- it was delicious!!! Everything was perfect! The…

The only Greek Middle Eastern place I could find in this part of town (Westchester) - to which a craving for shawarma and rice led me to explore this small place in a random plaza near the university. These two stoic middle eastern dudes who run this a la carte restaurant serve the best hummus and baklava (voted best baklava in the New Times 2007) AND sell hookahs, hookah accessories, and have a small mediterranean market.I feel the food is comparable if not better than the Daily Bread. As an added plus, FIU students get 10% off their meal.

I work at FIU and go there all the time. It is a great place for a quick and healthy meal. The food is always good and if you go to or work at FIU they give you a 10% discount.
