bland shawarma.  they need to work on their tahini sauce also.their falafel are made with fava beans (green inside) instead of chickpeas.summary = underseasoned food.

I disagree with the other reviewers. This place is delish! I ordered the vegetarian plate (sometimes places are better for veggies than meat?). It was well and thoroughly spice, nice and sour and olivey. The green fava filafel was hellz of tasty. Plus its in this nice little plaza that if it were thoroughly occupied would be a super comfy local community hang out. Alas miami is more impressed with weird hotels than places to talk to real people. Anyway the food here is good and cheaps

I'm eating one of their chicken kabob wraps right now. The chicken seems to be seasoned nicely and the hummus is tasty as well. It comes in a regular grilled pita with tabbouleh, hummus, tomato, onion, pickles (didn't see any) and garlic sauce which to me was too much garlic so I asked for the garlic sauce on the side and didn't touch it. Price $6.25 which pleased me very much. The prices for the other lunch items are very reasonable as well (for example, Chix/beef shawarma w/salad or rice for $8.50, I will definitely try that soon). They have take out, dining in, and catering. I was not overly impressed and the chicken was a bit too lemon-y for me, but since I work in the area, I will definitely be back to get my chicken kebob/hummus pita fix on. For what I had and with the price, I would have to say I was pleased. I went in on a Tuesday at 11:45 ish and there was no one in the restaurant, but it looks like a few orders were being prepped for deliveries. There was ample seating inside, but the inside reminded me of some kind of ugly truck stop bar and I would personally not want to go there and eat on the inside. I saw a little outdoor seating  area right outside the kitchen that looked a little more appealing but I didn't actually walk out there as it is 90 degrees today. The guy who greeted me at the door was extremely helpful, nice, and spoke Spanish as well.

Habibi is as authentic as it gets.   I found out he is a formally trained chef in Mediterranean food.  Another great place for a quick lunch or snack.  They also deliver with no minimum order.

Only Middle Eastern restaurant in the downtown or Brickell area (besides the ones in the food court or convenience store). Stuffed grape leaves are okay, but failed to impress. Beef in shawarma is a bit bland. Kabobs are better, both beef and lamb. Baklava are small, and not triangle shaped, but still good.Delivery available. There's hookah too.
