So apparently this place has turned into just a straight hookah lounge that doesn't open till much later.  Sad. This is a great mid-afternoon stop.  Really good Turkish coffee, which is hard to find in Chicago,…

I live just down the street and I love to see this business thrive with all of it's hookah seeking clientele late at night.  Coffee wise (which is why I ever go in there), they seem completely bewildered as how to work their barista machine, hence only 4 stars.  The staff is really nice!

I love this place since I ran into a few months ago. They take their coffees seriously, as evidenced by that impressively shiny espresso machine behind the counter that looks like it was produced by Willy Wonka. Their mint tea with honey experience is only comparable to a hot mojito, maybe less intoxicating, but still the same amount of flavor. The guys who run the place are service friendly, just try snagging one of the couches before others do and you'll have a great time.

Bluh! I came here with about eight friends for the belly dancing night on a Friday and after enjoying a few hookahs and some wine (BYOB) we were SHOCKED to see a bill for over $300!? Huh?!?!? Apparently they charge a corking fee and a cover charge for everyone in your group (I say apparently because this was NEVER EXPLAINED OR DISCLOSED). I kindly asked our server if the bill was correct and she nervously explained that, yes it was. I then asked to speak to the manager. The manager and one of his associates then took me back into the kitchen and proceeded to try and explain (for the first time) their policy on charging a corking fee and cover charge for everyone in a party (including even those who didn't drink!). At this point I was getting very frustrated because they REFUSED to admit any responsibility for not informing us of these charges when we entered! After arguing with me for nearly 30 minutes they agreed to take $100 off the bill. Overall they came across as greedy and opportunistic. Very unprofessional. I WILL NEVER GO HERE AGAIN. Which is a shame because the atmosphere is very charming and the belly dancing was great.

I went here after a frustrating experience at Samah. I'm a fan. The hookah bar is basically one big room with a mix of tables and couches. When we went on a Thursday night it wasn't very busy, but you can make a reservation for the weekend. Good place for a date. The place has very nice decoration, down to authentic looking lanterns. The hookah selection isn't very big, 8 flavors give or take, but the tobacco is good. I had the Mint and wasn't disappointed. I also recommend getting some tea, we had the Mint and it was delicious as well. I would give the place 5 stars, but $15 still seems a bit steep for a hookah.

Ever wonder if a good three quarters of Chicago's restaurant owners ever went to business school? You'll leave a place that's packed when it closes at nine to try to find a new hangout that's generally even more packed. So here's a new late night Mecca for y'all.Arabia just opened a few months ago. Bumped into it when on the way to the better known Iguana Cafe, and I'm glad I stopped, because not only did I collide headlong into a friend I'd known my entire life, but the food is wonderful, generous, and cheap: we're talking $10 hookah, people. Plus the guy who operates the place is actually Moroccan (good sign at ethnic places), warm, friendly and conversational. We were totally okay with leaving at 2 am; you can only smoke hookah for so long, y'know.

Ummmm, where do I start?? Don't Go Here! Not worth your money or time. They like to rip people off. Here are my Pros vs. Cons....Cons:- $20 for a Hookah (we don't live in Vegas - way to expensive)- Hidden Fees - They charge you $10/person for their Entertainment fee - Entertainment sucked - the belly dancer didn't even show up while I was there.- BYOB - $5/person to drink the alcohol that we brought.- Uncomfortable seating arrangements - sofas were stiff and the tables were plastic, right off the boat from China.Pros.......Can't think of any.If I were you, I would Yelp somewhere else for Hookah, not this place.

My bf and I have gone here about 20 time and we always had a good experience but ever since they changed management, things have gone down.   We brought a group of around 10 people on Friday night and it was a disappoint.  They don't have the live music on the weekends now and just a dj.  I know that the cover is for the music and belly dancer but with the belly dancer, she did not show up until 12:30 (when the staff said that it started at 11) and we were tired but when we asked if we still had to pay the cover even though we didn't see the belly dancer, we were informed that we had to so we stayed.  When one of the staff first brought out the hookah, he only brought out one mouthpiece with it.  We checked near the cash register where they have a bowl with extra mouthpieces and it was empty and we had to chase him down.   Why didn't he realize that if there is more than one person, you will need more than one mouthpiece? If you look at my last review, I wrote that he would come around and change the coal very often but it's not the case now.  Not only did we have to chase him down again, it took him a long time to come back to change it for us.  I think it's time for me to start looking around for other hookah lounges because this isn't a place I want to give my business to anymore. I've been passing by this hookah place quite often and finally decided to give it a try last…
