It's a good spot for cheap eats.  While everything was fresh, especially the pita for my chicken shawarma, nothing made my taste buds jump off my tongue. I was looking for more seasoning and perhaps some tabouli.  For $6.96 including tax, I walked away with a plate of grilled veggies (you get a choice of fries, salad, soup or veggies), a fountain drink and a decent sized sandwich (Combo #2)If Halal meat is a diet requirement, this is a good stop for you.  I'll probably go back to try the kufta.

Absolutely the best Mediterranean food in the western 'burbs! There are lots of hit-or-miss places to get great falafel, hummus, kabob in the city.  This place is right here in the burbs, and it's delicious. This was not my first visit to Pita Paradise, but tonight I brought a very good friend and fellow foodie to experience the flavors. We ordered the Hummus to start. Yes, it was awesome. She had the combo #1.  Falafel, Beef Shawerma, Kufftah Kabob served with sides.  I ate the beef kabob sandwich.Everything tasted awesome and the customer service was very nice.Delicious and close to home. Go here. Eat. Feel good.

No Downtown any more by Justin

This place rocks!  This place is homey, and super nice, friendly service staff comes by to check on you every so often. The first time we went was a Friday night just before midnight. We stayed until closing time, 2am, and enjoyed every moment. The seating and atmosphere is definitely lounge-style and super comfy, with house music blasting away in the background.

It's really awesome that they let you smell the hookah before you pick.  I've never found that anywhere else.
I loved the Arabic coffee, it was delicious. Definitely recommend buying a drink while you hookah to soothe the throat.

I came back again on a Thursday night with two friends who had never hookah-ad before and it was a great experience for them. The place was full as ever and just as great as the first time, no wait this time. My friends totally loved the experience. There's something about hookah that just gets you relaxed and from there the conversation flows freely, it only helps that this place is super chill.

AWESOME food, if you've never had middle eastern food this is the place to try!  Slow cooked meats, with rice or sandwiches. Really delcious, I can't say enough!  My husband got the Saturday special, roast lamb with rice, potatoes and vegetables.  It was so tender, out of this world!  I got the chicken shawerma sandwich which is popular there and soooo good as well.  They have all sorts of good looking kabobs and salads.  The smell of the food is divine, the flavors had my mouth watering even after we left!  No frills, extremely reasonable, and super friendly!

Hookah lover by Mathew

Great hookah lounge, the best in the suburbs, I've been here many times and each time I loved it more than the last. They have a great seating scheme comfortable too. It doesn't get too crowded on Friday and Saturday nights before 10. Every now and then I see belly dancers and I love that. They also play really great authentic music. The drinks are great, especially the coffees and teas.
They turn down the lights, turn up the music, and the place becomes more like a dance club.
As for the Hookahs, I have never been disappointed. The flavors are quite good trying the house blends they last for long time, the prices are great and they don't charge you to replace the coals, and the staff is pretty knowledgeable.

Highly recommended thumbs up!!!!!!!!!

i love this place!! the food is SO fresh and it's cooked right in front of you. I don't know if they still do the hookah thing since the smoking ban, (i don't care for smoking while i'm dining).

My husband and I tried this place for lunch today. The guy who took care of us was very friendly and the food was definitely fresh, so I don't have anything negative to say about the place. I just don't think it's my kind of food, although the lemon chicken soup was very yummy. I had the chicken shawerma sandwich and it was good, but like I said, something I couldn't see myself craving too often. That being said, we do plan to go there again to see if maybe we'd like the lamb more (my hubby had the beef this time).Oh and one more thing - get the soup or salad instead of the fries because they are just way too greasy. I've added a photo so you can see what I mean.

I love Mediterranean food, but this place is completely unworthy of that noble categorization.  You know how when you see a good movie there is sometimes one scene or maybe 5 minutes or maybe an actor that you cant stand just pops up-- your like "not this guy". Anyway the whole thing is just ruined for you. That's what this place is- a bad grade on an other wise flawless report card, a broken window on a classic car.   A skidmark on a pristine white pair of boxers.   Up until now,  My whole Mediterranean dining history has been exceptional like Citizen Kane or any great film. This place is the Ishtar of foodland.  The gastro equivalent of Mariah Carey's "Glitter". The food here serves no other purpose than to raise (to godlike levels) all  subsequent experiences within that style of cuisine. But enough with the overdescript metaphors.   Heres the reality of Pita Paradise.  The place was filled with an all-caucasian crowd which was a bad sign to begin with,  There was one old guy who looked sort of like Regis and could have been Middle Eastern or Lebanese or something.  Crowd = 5 people.  The plexiglass barrier between the condiments could not even be seen through defeating its purpose, it was covered in splatters and a haze of grease it was like looking out the  windows while in a carwash.  The condiments ,what I could make of them, all looked like they had been sitting there for a long time ,from the rim of dried crust around the top of each stainless steel container.  The lettuce was discolored and wilted and the tomatoes looked ragged and filmy.  The guy behind the counter was a one man show he cooked, prepared, bussed tables and rang up everyone, probably all without a single hand wash,  pretty impressive.  I should  have walked out the door at that point. Anyway I dared not order a huge entree given the general vibe I was getting, so I guess my Entertainment coupon wouldn' t be used It was a buy one entree get another for free.  But I was going to keep it simple, he had some soup brewing and it was cold outside so I inquired and was offered a sample.  It wasnt bad, The Lentil soup had rice in it and was well seasoned. although I couldnt help feeling it had been recycled for eternity, covered, put in the fridge,  repot, reheat, add a little broth,  back on the line,  REPEAT.  i consoled myself with, "at least it wont be undercooked".  Anyway the 4 piece falafel was less than two bucks so I said OK, I'll try that.  I passed the next five minutes waiting for my falafel by trying unsuccessfully  to find the single clean spoon in the utensil tray.  My falfels were ready and looked good, operative word here is LOOKED.   They were fried hard on the outside to a dark brown color and not too oily but the inside was all mushy.  Heat never even made it past the edges. I nibbled around the center trying to tell myself it wasnt that bad, but it was.  There was one good falafel out of of the four.  This was the absolute worst falafel Ive ever had.  2 more points to  make and then Im done. 1.) The hot sauce is nasty, smelled like old whiskey left in the bottom of a mug for a couple weeks it was really thick and pooled as it had separated from its  oil component.  2.) I saw some lady get a plate of chicken shwarma and it was not even close,  it wasnt shaved of a spit, it was merely a couple pieces of chicken breast (which i spotted all dried and withered just kind of hanging out on the side of a warm/cold grill in the back) that had been cut up quickly and then doused with a couple ladles of some warm gravy type stuff.I'm having trouble wiping this place out from my memoy banks, its only been a day since my visit and they say time heals everything, I guess we'll see.

Best Hookah Lounge Ever by Justin,

This place is homey, and super nice, friendly service staff they come by to check on you every so often. We stayed until closing time, 2am, and enjoyed every moment. The seating and atmosphere is definitely lounge-style and super comfy, with house music blasting away in the background. The hookah price is $12. One Hookah per two people $6 minimum charge per person. No extra charge for mixing flavors, they give you two-three extra coals. Our total for the night for 6 people came out to $65 including our drinks+tip, not bad at all!

I loved the Arabic coffee, it was delicious. Definitely recommend buying a drink while you hookah to soothe the throat.
