Sometimes I don't have time to leave the office for lunch. Actually, that happens quite often. At least once a week I find myself getting delivery from The Station. They're quick, the prices are great and the Chicken Shwarma is quite possibly the 2nd best in Dearborn. 2nd best? Yup, I still think Hamido is the best, but they don't deliver.So rather than say this is the 2nd best Shwarma in Dearborn, lets call this the "Best Chicken Shwarma Delivered Right To Your Door". Is that a Metro Times best in Detroit Category? If it isn't it should be. Everyone that works for me knows I can turn into a real cranky bastard if I don't eat lunch. I think they might appreciate The Station's Shwarma delivery even more than I do. Back to the food though, they have some different options for their Shwarma's that most don't have. The traditional Shwarma sandwich is roasted de-boned chicken, pickles and toum(garlic sauce) rolled up in a pita. At The Station they also offer it rolled up in french bread as well, which I've tried and is quite interesting but isn't the same for me.They also have a great hommous appetizer as well. The large hommous is enough for atleast 4 people.On the rare times their driver wasn't in I've picked up take out and I have to warn you. The parking lot is an adventure in itself. In 10 trips I've witnessed 3 fender-benders in the parking lot. Do yourself a favor and try this place out, just park carefully or get the delivery.UPDATE - 9/13/2009 - I don't know if they've changed their hours or closed, but no one answered the phone the last couple times I tried calling to place an order.

Good Food, low-key atmosphere, great hookah, at a cheap price. Try the chicken lemon rice soup. The portions are hugeee.
