I wish I could give it 3.5 stars, but since the other reviews were low enough I figure it will balance out by my giving it 4.  Also, My wife Loved the food and became converted to Mediterranean food. Ya, it is very pricey.  I got the combo plate for 2 persons for $30.  I figure $15 per person is spendy, but we got a lot of food.  They kept bringing small bowls full of fun things to dip the bread things in, then eventually the lamb kabobs which I thought was very tasty.  I like having lots of things to taste, so the meal was perfect.  As for the service, I will agree it wasn't spectacular.  I didn't get refilled as much as I'd like, and he did seem to disappear whenever we needed him. To his credit he did let me use his laptop without hesitance so I could check my email and look up some direction real quick.  So he was cool.

This space used to be Yes Cafe, a small Taiwanese fusion restaurant that tried to be something hip and urban like you'd find in Taipei.  But alas, they didn't survive, in part because prices were too high for the food. (Sorry, people here don't pay for artistic merit.)Now the Sultan Cafe takes its place serving Mediterranean food.  You can choose from a variety of sandwiches and rolls, or just hang out and smoke hookahs on the patio.  While there are better prices around for the same kind of food, you might go here for a clean and modern setting.  Everything was transferred from the old business to the new business, so everything still looks exactly the same, except now you have Arabic writing on the windows.Update -- they expanded with additional space and got some nicer furniture.  Haven't been back to see if the menu has changed, which I'm sure it has.

I guess the rents must be high, because Sultan Cafe is also charging a lot for food! I didn't eat, I just took a couple bites off my friends lamb kebab. The lamb was juicy and perfectly seasoned. There were plently of vegetables and rice and a whole grilled tomato served with his kebab. He also got naan and lots of different yogurts and sauces to try with it. I only ordered hot tea, which turned out to be just a lipton tea bag, my friend got iced tea..both were $1.99 and no refills. So it cost almost $20 for 1 person to eat...too much.

The food was a tad bit overpriced and the service was terrible.  The waitress couldn't answer simple questions, she just didn't bother to listen and was dismissive.  The mazza was great and the hummus and all the little salads that came with it was awesome.  Both my husband and I had different chicken dishes, and while the meat was seasoned great, the chicken in both dishes was so dry it was almost inedible. There were at least 6 employees working, for such a small restaurant, that is a lot, yet the service still sucked.
