YUM! This place gets 5 stars for being the best Mediterranean restaurant that I have been to in Dallas. After reading everybody else's reviews, I HAD to try the hummus. I must say, thank you everybody! It was excellent! Perfect creaminess and flavor. I much prefer this version of hummus over the Greek style hummus. Because of this place, I now realize that Greek Mediterranean food just isn't my cup of tea.  The tabbouleh was also most excellent. It wasn't over dressed like most places prepare it. Also, the dressing didn't have too much lemon which I liked. My friend and I shared the kebab platter for our entree. First of all, the plate was huge. We couldn't even finish the thing with our combined efforts. However, if I was still eating like I was in college, I could have probably finished the whole thing by myself (and feel like exploding). Secondly, these were some delicious kebabs. It came with steak, chicken, and gyro. All were delicious. The chicken wasn't dry and had a very nice charcoal flavor. The steak was seasoned well. The gyro was...well gyro is gyro. Always tasty. I will definitely be back to try something else. Will update the review after the next visit. Thanks Mandy for recommending this place to me!

Most of the reviews on here about this place are pretty right on. This place is very cozy and I love sitting on the patio on warmer nights to eat dinner and drink wine under the Christmas lights. I've tried dolmas, greek salad, hummus, grilled lamb, and pistachio chicken. I've never been disappointed in anything I've ordered with the standout being the grilled rack of lamb. At $22, it is the most expensive thing on the menu but it is devastatingly good in a simple, honest dish kind of way. I've never had a rack of lamb that was this satisfying. Everytime I start craving steak from now on, I'm coming back to GG's for medium rare lamb chops.

By far the best Lebanese food in town.  Everything's great.  The owner worked in the American Embassy in Beirut, which is one of the most dangerous gigs around, and he deserves our support.  BYOB-ness is underutilized  around here and can save you some significant bucks.  The falafel is excellent, as is the kofta and Lebanese vegetable dishes.  In my opinion, this is the most underrated restaurant in town.

Excellent place for mediterranean.  The decor is cozy.  Dining room is small with a patio that has an additional 7 tables.  It's BYOB, but luckily, the Wholefoods is across the street and a C-store that sells Beer and wine is 2 doors down.  Food was tasty, price was reasonable, and the portions were large.  I had a Gyro plate for $7.99 and was uncomfortably full by the time I finished.  Humus was pretty good too.

Outdoor seating in Dallas?! WHAT?! I went here with a friend (his review is posted below) and I just had to comment as well. Greek Mediterranean isn't my favorite food choice, but it was definitely worth the drive for me! First of all, I came and it was outdoor seating. That automatically got one star from me. Also, our waitress was just so cute and sincere. Obviously, we had hummus. It was pretty good, not too acidic like I've had before. The kebabs were good, too! This place didn't overcook the chicken, so it was still juicy. Worth a visit!

Wonderful restaurant! Just read the previous reviews for the details about this family run place. We always buy some wine at the beer/wine store next store. I recommend everything. We always get the Mazza Plate and the Kabab Sampler plate. I have watched the daughter and son grow up over the years at the front counter doing homework.  Its just the mom and daughter doing the service so have patience if its busy.  Go to GGs and enjoy some great Mediterranean food!I went here because I had a hankering for gyros. The dinner gyros platter was tasty, but the portions were very skimpy, and I felt the dinner was overpriced. I still felt like I needed a cheeseburger after I had cleaned my plate. Also, I looked for saganaki on the menu, but it was nowhere to be found. All in all, I was disappointed. I will try another restaurant next time I crave gyros. What can I say about the hummus that hasn't already been said? Well - I'm sure I could say a few things, but it's not-publishable. ;) Sevan is a great place to come on a lazy Sunday with the Sunday paper, a 6-pack, and your appetite.Excellent tase. I came here with a friend half an hour before closing time. The teenage girl at the register looked at us quizzically and asked, "do you have time to eat?" I had no idea what to say, and asked what she meant. To which she replied, "see, we close in 30 minutes, and..." I got the message: we were going to be an inconvenience for them. No biggie. We just went next door to the Libertine to eat. This place is nice, but this is not the first time that the girl has been rather inept at retaining business for the place. If you decide to go, the food is good, it's reasonably priced, but the service is slow, and you might get turned away if you get there 30 minutes before close.

I'm a fan. BYOB, good hummus, great selection, reasonable prices, nice service, outdoor patio for seating; what's not to like? Ok, it's kind of a weird name for a place...but a convenient location no doubt! There's even a beer and wine store next door so in the case you didn't BYOB you can BuyYOB. :)
