This is homestyle cooking at its best if your mom is from Lebanon or somewhere in the Middle East!  It's a lavish buffet to which they add fresh entrees, like lamb or beef kabobs--all for a ridiculous $8.99.  It's in a slightly dilapidated old house in a somewhat abandoned (some would call it "gentrifying") neighborhood, and the interior decor is non-existent as well, but if you're looking for delicious food, you'll be more than satisfied.

I was amazed by the food at Celaborelle... I am literally 3 minutes away from this restaurant, have passed it a million times, and have never stopped in. The outside looks uninviting but the inside is actually quite charming. The moment you walk in the door, the aroma of Middle Eastern food hits you and makes you hungrier than you were when you walked in. My husband and I sampled about 8 appetizers brought by the very friendly hostess/waitress. We were then told to order an entree from the menu (the buffet was not up and running this day...sunday). I ordered the Kefta and my husband ordered the Shawerma. Both good, but mine was better. Afterward, we had some Baklava. I believe there 2 kinds...the one with pistachios with a hint of rose water was simply one of the best baklavas I've had.

Absolutely the best Lebanese food I have had outside my grandmother and mother's house. The place is a bit scary from the outside looking to promise a house full of cats, but as soon as you hit the buffet you'll be thinking otherwise. It is incredible. Not only do you get an all you can eat buffet, but the waiter (Might I add the staff is great) brings out huge meat skewers on a plate as if you hadn't even been fed yet. The food changes daily and it is amazing! Come hungry and you will leave absolutely stuffed. This is one of my favorite places in Fort Worth.

Our first visit:  The neighborhood is a little sketchy. But it's in a cute little house and the food is amazing. The service is great, too -- the waiter walked us through the buffet, explaining what each dish was and which were his favorites. He also kept encouraging to order whatever we wanted off the menu (as if there wasn't enough food!), as it was all included in the $9 buffet price. He even packed up some baklava for us to take with us when we left. Our second visit:  It was a rainy evening, so when the four of us arrived, the waiter (same guy as the day before -- that's right. we went back THE NEXT DAY because it was so good) told us they hadn't prepared the buffet that night since they didn't expect much business. He told us that instead he would bring us a sampling of dishes (and we told him which ones we had particularly enjoyed on our first visit). He brought plate after plate of salads, dips, bread, kabobs, rice dishes, feta, olives, dolmas, and more. Before the evening was over, we had TWENTY different dishes (small portions, but still!) littering our table. And that's not even counting the pistachio baklava that finished our meal. After countless visits: Still in love with this place. And they're adding a hookah lounge upstairs! I'm so excited!
