I've been using Austin's Pride of Texas for about 6 years now.  It all started when it was owned by a gentleman named Ricky.  I used to work in the Real Estate business (big mistake) when I learned Ricky's Carpet Care business was the best in town (big blessing).  In fact, he was so good, realtors wouldn't tell other realtors they used him to stage houses.  We recommended him to our clients, but our list of 'A+ businesses' in town was kept under lock and key. Ricky was always prompt to answer his phone or return our call when we needed him.  Which was generally last minute.  He was always available to schedule at the earliest convenience for our clients.  He was also known to take out the darnedest of stains. He's managed to fix the and clean carpets of clients who led rather Charlie-Manson-esque lives to the more Amy Winehouse prone ones. And he did all this at a very competitive price.  I'm happy that whoever took over the business from Ricky has maintained this quality of service.  I've used them twice in the past year alone and am always satisfied.  If I had more money to throw around, I'd get the carpets cleaned every month.  Until then, I'm adopting the Japanese ritual of "take your damn shoes off before you step on the carpet" and my dog Zico is starting to sense this applies to dirty paws as well.Martha is always quick to respond to the telephone and she works with your schedule.  Chris is always on time, very professional and does an excellent job of catching every spot.  He's been able to remove every single spot possible - pet stains* although the pet treatment will cost you extra, red wine on a beige carpet, and yep - even motor oil.  When I return after the carpets have dried; the house transforms to a fresher, cleaner version of it's former self.  The only part of my carpet that is still royally farked, is the portion where I dropped hookah coals.  Chris initially came out to see if we can replace these areas with patches.  He was honest enough to sat it would cost me too much and would not look very good.   If Austin's Pride of Texas manages to clean out burn marks, I will nominate them  for the Nobel Peace Prize.  Until then, I'm completely and utterly satisfied with them. Bottom line, I can't imagine using anyone else!
