Great place and location, however I think it may be suffering from an identity crisis. It's a bit of everything rolled into one.It is nestled on top of a Indian restaurant and is decorated in Bombay themed furniture. They have an interesting Hookah selection, and you can order food from downstairs. There is a LARGE dancefloor and the bar area was pretty easy to navigate and fast. The problem is the promoters this place is hiring. In my opinion, not enough diversity. The place is pretty much empty, except on the nights they hire TSU college aged promoters. There is nothing wrong with hip-hop, in fact it's roughly 50% of what I listen to, but it's not ALL I listen to. This place is determined to bring in the same crowd that downtown attracts. Which is ok, but do we really need another TOC BAR? This place has the makings of a good venue, but they need to broaden their horizons and start attracting more clientel like how Belvedere mixes it up during the week.

I was invited to a party at Bristol on a Saturday night. Its basically a restaurant downstairs and a lounge upstairs. The decor is quite typical. There really isn't a theme in the place. Just a bunch of colors all piled up in one room. What strikes me the most is the poor service. This place is ran by a bunch of children. From the bouncers, bartenders, owners, it just didn't seem they knew what they were doing. There were several fights that night as well and no HPD security which is a big big liability. The location is also poor. It's in the very back of a shopping mall in Harwin and Hillcroft. I definitely don't recommend this place. Thumbs down on Bristol Lounge.
