If your living in Corpus Christi and are Pescetarian, vegetarian, vegan, or Californian - then this is a place that you must visit. Definitely a hippy flair. The Juice bar is amazing. And unlike some of my favourite hippy joints in Southern California they actually serve good coffee. Also - its a Tea room so they have tons of kinds of hot tea. Its a dining room located behind a hippy store. The decor is 1960's style hippy in poverty but creative. They have some lovely hand made items for sale in the store. The Tea Room has an extensive and delicious menu. The vegetarian burgers they offer are pretty good. But, what really sets them apart is their Mediterranean selections. It includes an amazing selection of hummus, Tabouli, and Baba Ganoush. All of which is served with what tasted like fresh Pita Bread. The Taziki is also amazing here. The hummus was savory with a bit of citrus. The tabouli salad was a typical Bulgar with parsley, tomatoes, and onions. It was super tasty. It was my first experience with Baba Ganoush but I have eaten and love tahini in the past which is a major ingredient. The Eggplant in the Baba Ganoush was excellent. They also have a Tango Thai wrap that is quite wonderful.

Went yesterday with my friend and I loved this place! I'm not vegetarian or vegan but the food here was awesome. I didn't care for the Vietnamese coffee but loved the Pomegranate Jet Tea. We split the chips and salsa along with the Mediterranean platter and both were amazing. I also had the chocolate almond vegan cake and god it was so good I can't wait to go back and get it. Great atmosphere and I really enjoyed it!
Best Hookah Lounge in south texas by Casablanca Hookah Lounge in corpus christi tx
The Service was great, the value was great. TV's and free internet available. Hookahs best hookah smoke I have had in a long time.
Outside area
Great house flavors.

Corpus Christi isn't exactly where you expect to find a hippie style tea shop. Indoors you can enjoy your tea and vegetarian fare on a variety of furniture. The aesthetic here possesses somewhat of a hookah lounge feel to it. Outdoors the courtyard area is enjoyable as well. They offer many different types of loose leaf teas here as well as espresso and smoothies. Part of the restaurant is a boutique that sells interesting clothing and other curiosities.

I think if wasn't so spoiled with the vegetarian options in Austin and Houston this place would get 5 stars. I believe it may be the only veggie restaurant in Corpus. The menu is quite extensive. I only ate there once, so I don't know if I got the full experience.Mango juice: expensive for not being freshBurger: I got the latin lover, which has a bunch of great ingredients, but the veggie burger or soy protein that they use is weird. It has a strange texture and tastes weirdly sweet. If you go, don't get a burger. Get whatever other people are recommending. I'd go back if I went back to Corpus. The staff is nice and the other patrons seem laid back. Plus, I'd probably starve if I didn't eat here, as veggie options are low in the area.

i love this place. i've loved it since i moved to Texas in 2002. i lived in Austin, originally, before i moved down this way. this was one of the first places i "discovered" when i'd come to visit family.there is no nicer or friendlier group of people. Irene is one of a kind great and always is willing to have a friendly chat. the prices are affordable, the selection always interesting and best of all my niece asks me every time to take a trip out to Yin Yang Fandango!

I had of course looked up reviews on Yelp to find something us vegetarians could eat in Corpus- plus a vegan friend of ours mentioned this place too- so we were sold. We had a little trouble finding the place, its tucked away by the convention center. The ambiance was layed back, bohemian like. The staff was friendly and helpful. When we told the lady where you order this was our first time, she gave us a free sample of the vegetarian chili and humus.(very nice of her) We ended up ordering the "Greek Veggie Sandwich" (it was very good, I substituted the croissant for wholegrain bread) and the "American Hippie" veggie burger (my husband liked this, I thought it was a little dry without any dressing- especially since it has sprouts on it). We were sad to learn that they ran out of the wheat meat for the "Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich" We also ventured to try the Vegan Chocolate Cake- it was much sweeter than we thought it was going to be and very fluffy! You wouldn't believe it was vegan. Prices are decent - under $8 for a sandwich. The cake was something like $4.50 for this BIG slice! If we ever venture back down to Corpus, we'll go- but I wouldn't make a special trip just for the food.I think if wasn't so spoiled with the vegetarian options in Austin and Houston this place would get 5 stars. Whenever I go back to visit , Yin Yang Fandango The Tango Tea Room is always on my list.Don't neglect visiting and supporting this exotic and beautiful place Corpus Christi! You need Yin Yang Fandango The Tango Tea Room to contrast the meat filled, beer swilling establishments that pervade your town!!As home made as a earth loving hippie can be! Embrace your inner spirit and remember what it would be like if you ate this well all of the time. If you are conscious about your health, love tea, drum circles and incense you'll die when you visit this charming little bungalow of a restaurant-cafe/ tearoom. Their Avocado chocolate mousse pie, wow!

This place is a refreshing sight in Corpus. Everything tends to run together for me when I'm there, but not this place. It's a relaxing atmosphere--the tea is excellent and plentiful. Behind the counter they are always eager to share their knowledge of the tea. The food is also really good--and healthy even! Their hummus is a must try. It has more going on than your normal hummus.
