Sultan Cafe and Grill

This place is a Hookah bar and Restaurant.  Although my friends and I usually go here to smoke hookah, I was pleasantly surprised by the caliber of their food.They have very tasty Shwarmas and falafel sandwiches.  Their seasoned curly fries are crunchy and delicious.  The hummus with pita is smooth, creamy and garlicky - very delicious.  The thing I was most excited for however was their fuul (a fava bean dip) eaten with pita that one of my Lebanese friends had introduced me to and I constantly crave!

i have been coming here since the place opened about 4 -5 years ago. i have seen it transform from nothing, to a place like cheer's. sometimes you wanna go where everybody knows your name. the staff is as friendly as can be and if you talk to them they will usually remember you.  they have good music, games that you can play, tv screens all over the place. i'm from houston and compared to the hookah bars here the hookah here is great. they have a large variety of flavors and the people who make the hookah are experienced. the food is good, and i recommend getting the calzone, i crave it every now and then and have to get my fix. overall if you're a college student and looking for a good time to hang out with a group of friends, i suggest trying sultan cafe

Well I have been coming here to smoke for about three years. Yeah for San Antonio it's an ok place. The parking is not as great as Shishas, especially since they have a huge pot hole in the lot entrance/exit. I can forgive that though. They have a better inside atmosphere then Shishas, but honestly it just may be because of the pillows and chairs with arm rests so 1 star for that. The service throughout the years has gotten better so 1 star for that, they finally have a Club Card so 1 stars for that, and last but not least the smoothies are good so 1 star for that. I could never however give this place 5 stars because outside of San Antonio there exist far better hookah bars, especially Phara's in Austin, Texas! For SA it'll do. The main reason however to chose this place over Shishas which is literally a 2 min drive away is for their Club Card. 5 hookahs and you get a free refill, 10 hookahs and you get one free! Before the Club Card my friends and I would just switch every other time  between here and Shishas.
