the staff was extremely helpful with picking out drinks. i recommend the mango special and for a yummy snack a pork bun *mmmmmm* the price about right and the atmosphere reminded me of home in California; bay area. the staff even tried to help me and a friend find a good sushi restaurant for after. if u dont like the big pearls they have small ones available and its a hooks lounge but I didn't try that out I definately will be coming back to visit this place.

So good. They actually used frozen mango chunks to make my bubble tea. No powdered mix here. The best bubble tea in town.

I like this place its a cool place to relax at I came here about everyday when I stayed in town for 10 days. Well I probably hit up Taco Haven across the street first then I came here to let the food settle:) I ordered the mango green tea which was good, I don't like the pearls nothing against this place I don't like the pearls at any bubble tea place. The pearls are these gummy balls they put in the bottom of the drink they taste like licorice to me. Maybe I just drank to much Jagermeister and other liquorish drinks in my life:). Well bottom line you can order it without, if you want try them you may like them. You get an extra large straw to be able to suck down the pearls which also means you finish this drink before you know it. I think my favorite drink here is the Jive its like chocolate Ice cream.  I never tried the Hookah though maybe next time.

I absolutely LOVE this place!  I love the fact that you can create your own mix of flavors.  I have tried several concoctions and am still going down the list.  The owners are super.  They are very personable and will answer your questions about bubble tea.If a drink has been created 3 times, you get to name the drink!!  I have a feeling there is going to be a Yelp drink VERY soon....Here is a local business that caters to their clients.  I have enjoyed every bubble tea I have had from here.I really enjoyed my experience at Bubblehead.  I usually never stray far from what I already know and enjoy - especially since Tong's Thai, their owners, family members and employees in general are all really nice and have awesome bbt.  But I just had to see what it was about Bubble Head that a lot of people between Yelp and those I know personally kept raving about.I got here and found this place to be a great discovery!!  Menus, menus and menus... and hookahs to boot!  Immediately greeted and shown all the tastes and concoctions they served - it was really hard to choose!  I finally settled on Mike's Coco Loco which consisted of chocolate and vanilla blended with coconut.  Can you say, "Yummylicious!"??  Cause it was!  My new goal: to divulge myself in carbicide with their bubbletea goodness...  I joke though... I think...I know I'm not hip for saying this but I was not too impressed with my first venture into the realm of bubble tea.  Somehow I was expecting something other than what I had.  First of all let me say that as mango smoothies go it was very sweet and delicious but the blue tapioca pearls tasted like nothing more than gummy bears.  Now I like gummy bears and I like mango smoothies but I don't necessarily want them together.  When I was a kid there was another kid who put peanuts in his Dr Pepper.  I tried it once and it wasn't terrible but I never tried it again.  I will definitely give bubble tea another go but I' m not sure what I'm supposed to be wowed by.There's definitely a reason why Bubble Head has gotten 5 stars from every one. The place is amazing. Something you'd find tucked away in Brooklyn. It very much is tucked away here in San Antonio as well. I stumbled on it after a lunch at Madhatters when I took a wrong turn. Thank God I did because I loved it here. Unfortunately I walked in when they were just about to close but the owners were nice enough to take my order and talked to me a bit about the store. The store itself is so cute. Cute couches and comfy chairs are scattered about the shop. Such a great vibe in here. Oh and the bubble tea is by far the best in San Antonio. They make everything fresh so the tastes are fantastic and you can mix whatever you want. The prices aren't steep at all which is surprising for an establishment in Southtown. Go go go to Bubble Head. You, your taste buds, and local business will thank me.If you haven't had a chance to try Bubble Tea yet than you need to head out to Bubblehead Tea. Bubble Tea is an import from Asia that is a blended beverage (usually) combined with tapioca pearls (sweet gummy bubbles of tapioca). With all the options that Bubblehead offers you are certain to find something you will enjoy. What is so great about this place is their connection to the local community. I was drinking a specialty drink call the Roland Stone and talking with one of the owners, Albert, and then he introduced me to the tweenager Roland that the drink is named after. Then we took turns riding Roland's reverse three wheel bicycle around the parking lot.Really? Can you beat that?

I was really interested in trying out bubble tea; from all the hype on Internet and Yelp. So I did my normal research and found that Bubble Head seem to be the best bet.  I went to Bubble head, and was glad I did. It was awesome I could not believe how good the bubble tea tasted. The twist of flavors, and cool sensation of the cold drink itself; were enough to satisfy your thirst on a hot summer day. Top It off with the added colored pearls, and your good to go or stay. With the free WIFI, and comfy furniture Bubble Head is a really cool place to chill. The staff is really nice, and helpful in selecting a drink to your liking.  It's around the King William district so you feel your doing your part in supporting a local business. I don't know If Bubble Head is the best in SA for bubble tea, because It is the first place I tried. But, I like this place so much that I probably won't even try any other place for bubble tea. So give Bubble Head a try, I know you will like it.

Found this place thanks to Urbanspoon on the iphone. Have been looking for a good cup of genuine coffee, and now I have a place to go to when I'm in southtown.
