It started out good. The hummus and babaghanoush were fantastic. The falafels were perfect; lightly fried and tasty. I was almost most won over. Then the entree came. The meat was dry and could have used more seasoning. It was served on a bed of plain white rice. The salad was iceberg lettuce and from the jar dressing. Where was the flavor?

Salaam 'Alaykum. This is Moroccan family owned restaurant with great Lebanese food that is priced right and made fresh.  Perfect for lunch or a cheap eat almost anytime. The food is homemade tasting and served quickly by a friendly staff. Very simple diner-ish feel to it, but tight wallets looking for great flavors would be satisfied eating here. Don't miss the falafels! Only drawback, no harissa sauce served (I mean, they are Moroccan, right?), but the sriracha on the tables was not a bad runner-up.Mecca Grill is a great little Denver treasure. Make a  pilgrimage to Mecca  Grill and you (and Allah) will be glad you did!

This place is very clean and serving staff is very polite and knowledgeble. Food is great, even though they advertise hookah, they don't have it since they don't have the license.

Me likey!!! Falafel is for sure two thumbs up! And the sandwiches are SUPER cheap, I mean it, like $3.95 for a chicken kabob wrap. This isn't fancy or all done up by any means, but it is so delicious and affordable that I'm sure we'll come back again and again. Pretty sure your waiter is also who goes and throws your food together too, so be a little patient, it's worth the wait. Baba ganooj was blended perfectly, creamy and flavorful. GO there -- even if it's just for take-out.

This Lebanese restaurant, named after a Saudi holy city, is actually run by a Moroccan family. Don't ask me, I'm as confused as you are. Sometimes brown people just don't get other brown people. But I do know 3-stars on Yelp translates to "mish baatel" in general Arabic.*They don't have a hookah bar anymore, which is an automatic two-star deduction from my book. The lamb chops, however, were delicious as was the fun service and company of Hans O. and David S. So all mixed together, it was A-OK. I have the perfect formulas in my head to justify these ratings, so perfect they even work in other languages. I'd still recommend Gypsy House for hookah.*Or so help me God if it actually means something else.

OMG, wow...great food for SUCH a great price! I have been to Mecca Grill several times for their hummus (YUMMY!) and falafel pita sandwich. No joke, the falafel is only $3.25! It's a good size too...definitely enough for a meal. The falafel is full of flavor and delivers the perfect consistancy: crispy on the outside, soft and moist on the inside. The decor is sparse...this isn't the place to go if you're trying to impress someone. However, the food is great and cheap. Perfect for take out. The family who owns the restaurant is really nice and always very polite and helpful. I don't know how they stay in business...every time I've come here, the restaurant is empty. Maybe they do catering? Not sure, but I really enjoy their food.

Loved this place! I had the Meat Combo ($10.95) which turned out to be one of the best I have ever tasted - the generous portions of various meats were lean, succulent and perfectly-spiced (the cubes of marinated chicken breast were exceptionally good). The accompanying rice was steamy-hot and buttery, and the salad was fresh and crisp (the Italian dressing liberally slathered on top was a bit weird, but who cares). His Vegetarian Combo was also tasty (I'm not a big falafel fan but theirs were especially amazing) and, at $8.95, was a great deal. Our server was MIA for most of the meal but the cook guy was super friendly and helpful. Like a lot of strip mall restaurants, this place doesn't look much from the outside but it's cute and cozy inside. Prices are crazy reasonable too (entrees $9-$11; sandwiches $3-$4). I'll be back!
