Decided to start my Saturday night here for some quick dinner and I must say it was a mixed bag. The food was great and the Hookah was fun, but there was only one person working and she decided to make the place her personal night club on the almost comically impressive sound system.

Siiiick, you could very well catch a venereal disease in here. I felt like I was in a strange set that was a mix of the bar from the movie Blob and Lesbos from that South Park episode. There were definitely some springs sticking out of the vinyl seats and the choices for hookah were either coal or no coal. The menu choices were either fake chicken or fake beef. Try Shish Kabob down the street for much better Lebanese fare. I am still on the prowl for good hookah in Denver...

Stopped by here for a Gyro and Fries.  I was drunk and had the munchies.  I can usually polish off anything in that state but this just wasn't doing it for me.

Things you must know about Pita Grill and Hookah Bar:1. Tables and furniture have burnt marks in them from spilled charcoal. Its dirty and gives the impression the owners do no care for their restuarant.2. Some of the tables wobble and some of the seats are extremely uncomfortable. Very dirty overall.3. Service is poor as we waited for our hookah for 20 minutes.4. During later hours they crank up the music to a level where conversation is a nuisance. Definately an Arab scene. This alone makes the place not tolerable for most.5. Hummus is good. Overall food quality is average to lower average.6. Would only go here if someone wanted hookah very late at night and I just got let out from Sanchos or Ogden and was drunk.7. Been here 3 times and had 1 good experience and 2 terrible ones (due to service).

Better than what I imagined. Food was okay, service kind of slow. But great hookah flavors.

the best service i have ever received in any hookah bar. ive been here for 3 hours and I feel like im sitting in my living room. Im in denver from the sf bay area for work and googled a hookah bar. this was the closest to my hotel so i decided to come here. I am very pleased! Very nice owners, family run...bring your laptop (fast wifi) and come enjoy the food, hookah and hospitality....

Hookah. And the infamous glass chess board. They dropped our credit cards into the charcoal and warped them, but I love the ambiance enough to go back. Seriously. That's saying a lot. I wouldn't recommend this place for people who aren't really into hookah or the Arab/Middle Eastern scene. I'm brown so the bias is kind of blatant.  Excellent hookah flavors, the mango lassi is really good, too. And one of the servers has some great advice on chess moves...since I'm new to the game.

I had come here once before and their kebabs were okay, so I wandered in drunk the night the Rockmada closed for some chicken and rice.Bad, bad, bad, regrettable drunk decision. Like, getting drunk and sleeping with an ex bad, or getting drunk and calling up the guy you hooked up with last week to say you're finally ready for a relationship. Bad. The rice tasted as if the oil or ghee used was rancid. The chicken was cooked to the point of mummification. The hummus was greasy and the pita was chewy and stale.I woke up the next day hungover *and* feeling like I had food poisoning. Mmm, botulicious.I won't be going back. Next time I get wasted and want Middle Eastern food I'll get Shish Kabob to deliver.
