Really yummy food, however it would be great if they had some vegetarian options.  The service hasn't always been known to be timely, but they have been a lot better at it.  Lets just say it's worth the wait at times.  I go here all the time.  The hummus is the best I have ever had!!  Oh and the parking is pretty bad.

Good food but not great. I got the Ghorme Sabzik. To be fair, I didn't really know what it was. Sounded liked spiced meat deliciousness and I was feeling like trying something new. BUT, when my meal was served I was sad. It looked very unappetizing...was shredded beef stew with pureed lentils. It just wasn't what I wanted or expected. I wanted a kabob  and tasty sauces, not soupy substance. My fault for not asking questions. Flavor-wise..it just didn't cut it.I suffered from food envy during my entire lunch. My husband ordered the beef shawarma. It was really tasty and the hummus and garlic spread were excellent. I would stick to the basics here and order a meal that comes with hummus for sure. As for me, I'll be trying out the other Lebanese/Persian places in the area before returning.

I love belly dancing, belly dancing is scary for me.A recent date took me here, I think in hopes of sparking my libido. Belly dancing, need I say more. Belly dancing is natural to a woman's bone and muscle structure with movements emanating from the torso rather than in the legs and feet. The dance often focuses upon isolating different parts of the body, moving them independently in sensuous patterns, weaving together the entire feminine form.It was a success. The food was wonderful too.

I give it 4 stars, he gives it 2. We'll meet in the middle with 3.Gyro and fries ($4.95, $1.50) - Pita was a bit chewy and not soft/fluffy fresh like you get at most other places. Beneath the pile of tomato, onion and lettuce was two thin insole-shaped slices of gyro meat. The flavor was alright but they were quite cold and a bit leathery. The fries were cooked pretty nicely but were wayyy too salty. Had a serving of garlic sauce (50c) which tasted freshly made but had that semi-unpleasant "twang" you get when garlic has turned green inside. All in all, it was ok. Nowhere near the best ever.Lamb kabob - The kitchen kindly allowed me to add a single skewer of lamb  to my meal ($4.95). Damn, this was DELICIOUS! The cubes of meat was sooo tender and succulent, cooked perfectly medium as requested, and had a fantastic smoky chargrilled flavor. The accompanying onion and tomato was also charred and amazing. I would definitely recommend the lamb. Vegetarian Combo Platter ($10.95) -  Apart from the falafel which, despite having a squishy undercooked texture, actually tasted really good, everything was super bland. We were really surprised that the rice they served up was the plain white long-grain variety, without even the slightest hint of seasoning. Totally unexceptional. While I can think of a bunch of places that do way better gyros, I know I'll be back for their lamb kabobs.

This place rocks. Went for the second time last night, had the sultan combo both times. It's amazing. We started off with some dranks. There was an unpronounceable (to me, speaking other languages is a challenge) bev from Lebanon that we tried, tasted like ouzo-y absinthe-y non goodness..unless you're a licorice freak, then you'll love it. The boy had a lovely glass of merlot featuring lipstick stains all around the rim which he just drank around instead of demanding a new one. -1/2 a point (only cause I really like this place). The other 1/2 point off comes from goddamn gnats flyin about! Sure there were only 2 of those little bastards but flies are just never appetizing. The negatives aside, I will return here because the food is super scrump.

I am not even sure this place deserves 2 stars, but the food didn't kill me, so I will give them the benefit of the doubt. First off, I have tortured myself by going here 3 times now. First time was over a year ago. My wife and I ordered the different combo meals. I thought the quality of both the food and service were just OK. Nothing I would have gone back for. That was until we received 100 bucks worth of gift certificates for Christmas last year.We dragged ourselves back there about 6 months ago with a couple of friends. Somehow, I got on their email list, so I get their weekly buy one get one free coupons, so I thought this was the perfect opportunity to use one, in addition to getting rid of these gift certificates. The place was about half full and the servers they had on hand were plenty; yet, they seemed unable to handle it. They were too busy going to the hookah bar and chatting in the back to service their orders and tables. Additionally, our server was rude and stuck up. And the food... Everyone else ordered kabobs which were dry and tasteless. The pita must have been microwaved because it was chewy and stale. I had the fish, which was pretty good. But, it was doused in butter and cream, so how could it not be good? When it was finally time to pay, we were told that we could not use gift certificates with a coupon. Why not, I asked, and then came the response... Because. If it were just me, and not a table full of friends, I would have escalated the issue to the manager. But, instead, I slapped down a gift certificate and left with bad feeling in my stomach (mainly due to the terrible service and knowing I had to come back and use the remainder of my certificates).Well, some things never change. Went to spend 50 bucks of the remaining 75 we had left of certificates. We ordered Ara-Yes app and it was filled with a beef patty the looked like dog food... Nasty. Soon after the food came. My food was served a total of 7 minutes before my wife. I had the fish again served with the same stale pita. My beer ran out even before my food came, but never was I asked if I wanted another. The servers were too busy complaining about their personal lives and taking cell phone calls in the bathroom (I could here these stories while they stood behind the bar chatting between themselves). At the same time, a steady flow of people were coming through the doors... Confused with no greeting, some sat down, some left. I saw my wife's meal come up, but it sat there while the servers were next door at the hookah bar. Finally, they got the bland veggie combo to my wife. We finished what we could eat (the portions are huge, so we only managed to finish half). While we waited for a box, our drinks stayed empty and the servers continually passed our table by. A full 25 Min's after we finished our food did the check get picked up from the table. The total came to 40 and I used 50 worth of certificates (they came in increments of 25). 5 mins after picking up the ticket, the server came back telling us we could only use one certificate... Once again, there is nothing that tells us that, other than it being their "policy." I explained that is unacceptable and the server left then came back saying the manager wasn't budging. I figured at this point the manager should have come out instead of hiding behind his server, but I found out that he was "fixing the bathroom" when I asked to speak with him. I said I would wait and she went to get him. If I thought the servers were rude before, I found out why as soon as I met the manager. He huffed to the table and asked what "our problem was." I asked why the gift certificates were not able to be used together. He explained he could not give change... Now, most times, a good manger would leave a balance on a certificate and sign off on it. Still, as terrible as this food and service is at this place, I explained that I really didn't care at this point. He responded by saying "fine" and he huffed away. Now that the small restaurant caught a glimpse of our little issue, we walked out in embarrassment, leaving our leftovers on the table. Anyone feel like torturing yourself with bland food and terrible service? I have a 25 dollar gift certificate I don't plan to use...

I had to choose a place for my boyfriend and I to go for dinner. It was between House of Kabob and KiKi's. He is from Detroit and knows good Middle Eastern fare. The food was VERY tasty. I knocked 1 star off because the service was only OK. It wasn't bad or good. I knocked off another star because I was disappointed in my combo. The food was good, just not what I really was looking for. I ended up eating more of my boyfriend's food.

Ok, so I am really really picky with Middle Eastern food. Originally I am from the metro Detroit area and we have one of the largest middle Eastern populations that you can find, so I know what tastes authentic and what I wouldn't even feed to my dog!! When I arrived here I thought oh no not another yucky middle eastern place, but I must say I was pleasantly surprised. We ordered the chicken shwarma plate (very good), fatoush salad (good but a little dry), lentil soup (not a fan), and hummus (the best I have had yet in this area). We took it to go because it was hard to find parking and it was a little small. I was however impressed that the owner is from Syria and his wife was preparing all the food. I will go here again but I am also still on the hunt for the best fatoush salad in Denver, my favorite!!!!!!!!!

As a person of Lebanese descent, these dishes are the same that I have grown up eating.  And let me tell you, unlike most middle eastern restaraunts, House of Kabob does not dissapoint.  They have the best hummus I have ever tasted that wasn't home made, they have excellent Fatoush salad, and their beef Shwarma is possibly a divine experience, certainly when coupled with the creamy garlic sauce that accompanies it in it's presentation.  I haven't had anything there that isn't excellent, although the baklava could be served warm, but that's a petty complaint.  The only thing it loses out on is sometimes the service takes a while.  but it is worth the wait.  And they are now open until 4AM Thursday-Saturday night, so no more Taco Bell post bars!!  It is a very nice place, and is attached to the Hookah Palace, so if smoking hookah is your bag, that is right there as well.

NOTE - despite what yelp said, they do not deliver. You get an inordinate amount of food - with the hummus alone you get three or four massive pitas still in their bag.  The hummus is smooth, but I would have liked a few more onions (and some cucumbers) on top of it as well. The chicken shwarma plate had good flavor, but the chicken was more of the ground variety and a tad bit dry.  You also get a side of hummus, some garlic sauce, and your choice of a cucumber salad or green salad.  We also got fesenjan stew (chicken, pomegranate, and walnuts), which came with the same hummus and cucumber salad.  My mother found her meal to be good as well; since it was a 'stew' it wasn't dry. There were two people working there, and they didn't seem to be able to handle the amount of customers (even though it wasn't busy).  The person waiting at the counter was the belly dancer, and she didn't have any idea what was going on.
