A "fresh jolt" for Hollywood...big, clean, and fresh-tasting food made to order. Can take a few minutes if busy but worth it. Portions and prices are adequate except drinks are a bit over-priced. Recommended for area workers and passer-bys and, of course, the tourists!

My coworker and I went to Mediterranean Fresh before an Egyptian Theatre screening, and were very pleasantly surprised. The service was excellent. The interior / decor is really nice - it's super clean and there's even a 'lounge' area with couches. The patio is semi-enclosed so you feel protected from the elements, but there are big open windows great for people-watching. The food is very reasonably priced - the pita sandwiches were under $5, and the large plates (which two of us shared one of, but we also bought some appetizers) were about $8 or $9.The spinach pocket appetizer was delicious!!! It's about the size of the palm of your hand and has great flavor. The tabbouleh was super fresh and really tasty, though my coworker says it was more watery than he likes it (I think it was just super juicy tomatoes). The hummus was okay (I've definitely had better in L.A.), the rice was fine, the ground beef kebab had great flavor but was a bit dry. They had run out of baklavah, so we didn't get to try it. Instead, we went to Starbucks for a chocolate chip cookie.I would definitely go the Med Fresh again and try some more dishes.

i'll have to come back for a meal there. this review is solely based on the service and hookah and expresso experience. service was weak at first, two friends and i were welcomed and sat down, then forgotten. blah. the hookah was delish, but we had to take care of our own coals and had to first the feller to supply us with new fresh ones. blah. the double expresso was garbage, the single was tolerable. i hear tons about the food. so i'll go back and rave about that some other time. oi.

Love. Love. Love.My boyfriend and I were killing some time in LA and we had originally decided to see what was at HH to eat. We weren't really feeling anything there so we decided to walk down Hollywood Blvd. towards Vine I believe. There was a store he wanted to check out and we figured we'd stop somewhere in between to eat. We almost passed this place up. There was only a small family in the back and a lonely lady at another table and the guy at the register was reading a newspaper when we walked in. It's pretty nicely decorated inside and definitely clean. I ordered the Prime Filet Steak Kabob Sandwich($4.25) and a snapple. My boyfriend ordered the Beef Kabob Plate ($8.50) and it came with a choice of 2 sides. He got the grape leaves and the eggplant. I took one bite and it was delicious! The spices and whatever else was in there combined with how juicy and perfectly cooked the meat was made my mouth water. I also picked off my boyfriends plate and everything he ordered was sooo good. We sat on the patio, ate our meal, and enjoyed the beautiful day. People watching, good conversation, and good food. It was a great lunch and I will definitely come back on my next day trip to LA. I need to find a good mediterranean place down here in orange county or they need to branch out and open one here.

Yo, Mediterranean Fresh, I'm really happy for you and Im'ma let you finish, but Carousel further down Hollywood Blvd. has some of the best Middle Eastern food of all time.

This review is for food during lunch hours. My friend and I ate lunch here today and were really disappointed in the food. The service was fine and the location is fine... the food was just eh.I ordered a Greek Salad and that's pretty hard to mess up. It was DRENCHED in the lemon dressing, no exaggeration. I gave up halfway through the thing because every bite was sour with the lemon flavor (and I love lemons). We had a hummus appetizer and it was honestly probably the worst hummus I've ever had and I eat it pretty regularly. The comment about getting better hummus at Trader Joes is dead on - I've gotten better hummus at Vons/Pavillions/Ralphs, too. The pita bread was thin and bland. Very obviously store bought. The beef in my friend's beef shwarma wrap was burned. We paid $25 for this meal and could've paid less down the street at Al Wazir (Hollywood Gower) for better/more food. To their credit - good location, fun to people watch and the service was good. I haven't been here during the evening or for a hookah session, but I imagine that it's different and possibly better. Unfortunately, the lunch experience is going to keep me from coming back.

The food is pretty good - especially considering you're spending just a tad more than you would for Mediterranean takeout or delivery at a lot of local places (though I've only been for lunch on weekends). Got a pretty good bottle of wine, for a very reasonable price as well... Plus the restaurant is all glass facing the boulevard with two decks of patios... Perfect location - next to some great bars, HH, metro - etc - and they're open til 3 am...

Well, I have stopped going here. The food prices have been really jacked up. Dosvidanya, MedFresh! I wonder how this place makes money. When the place first opened up it seemed like the kitchen was…

i live around the block from here and really wanted to enjoy this new place but it was just a major disappointment.the baklava was good.they put french fries in my chicken wrap and apparently that wasn't an accident.the pita and hummus were fine- but not better than trader joes hummusi found the staff incredibly stand-offish. almost as if they were irritated at my sister and i for being there. no alcohol.being the only customers we foolishly expected to be waited on; instead i had to get up and break into a foreign conversation between the 3 men in the kitchen and 2 men on the floor to ask for my check (we had been done for almost 20 minutes)I'm shocked to see other reviews. perhaps it was an off day.but i'm not curious enough to go back.

I guess this place changed owners or something because this place sucks now. The food was all bland and dry and it seems like the prices all shot up. They don't even give you hummus with your food but give you fries instead. No hummus? Are you kidding me? I have nothing against the servers who helped us. The lady was pretty nice but this updated review is purely based on the food itself which didn't do it for me. Too bad. I've driven by this place many times but today we decided to try it for lunch. We're sick of the…
