I'm not sure what Jade before me was talking about because this place FANTASTIC! Best hookah experience I've had all across the US. One of the best atmospheres I've ever seen. Very relaxing, very much a great place to chill. Servers were quick, there was even a guy constantly walking around replenishing coals! Not sure if it was only on the weekend, but it was top notch all around. Definitely planning on going back quite a bit. Highly recommended although seating seems to fill up fast late at night. Honestly had no problems - truly exceeded all my expectations.

Still on my search for a hookah place comparable to our favs back in Chicago.  This place, while much better than that Rama Genie piece of sh... place on Melrose, still is not quite there.  We were very excited to visit this place as it is 2 blocks from our house, the whole front is open so it feels outdoorsy and it is decorated with middle eastern flavor.  Prices are not bad, there is a $10 min per person BUT HOOKAH IS INCLUDED!  Hookah is $14.95 for regular flavors or $19.95 for a premium flavor.  Also there is a 15% gratuity added in as well.  The hookah was good, got mixed fruit, it was always smooth and hit well the whole time, only one or two times was it slightly harsh.  The staff was very attentive with the charcoal and never had a problem with there being no charcoal or charcoal full of ash.Downsides were the prices were a little high for some of the other menu items, like hot tea was $3.75 and came in a glass that looked like an oversized shot glass....come on now tea is dirt cheap, its not vodka!  And then the other MAJOR downside was the music.  I don't expect middle eastern or other ethnic music, but I do not want to go into a place that has such nice ambiance and a place I want to chill...only to have crap like Journey pounded in my ears.  All the music was old old 80's music, which is fine if that is what you are into, but I don't feel that it was appropriate for this type of a place.We will probably go back because of the great location and smooth hookah...but the music was just killing it for us.  Maybe on the weekend they change it up?  We went on a Thursday night.

I went here during the day on saturday to meet up for a stduy group. The owner was out front and SUPER friendly. Basically offered me the world. Made sure we were takin care of completely. He turned on the heat lamps for us without hesitation and even had a worker move his car for me out of the parking lot so i could move there when i ran out of quarters for the meter! Gave us 2 tbales because he saw all the books we had.Aside from the friendly service the hookah flavours are amazing and the atmosphere is very comfy and cozy. It wasn't busy at all since it was mid-day but i can see how this place would be very popular at night. During the day i think 12-5 or so they have $8 hookah specials!!!!!!!!!! How can you beat that?

Why do I come here? I guess because at midnight on a Monday night, it seemed like the only semi-entertaining thing to do.  This place gets stars for having an extensive list of flavors but the service is so hit or miss - and it's a kinda overpriced.  Can someone please show me an alternative?!

The seating was comfy, the flavor  we chose was tasty --  apple rose mixed with mint. HOWEVER...The top 40's rap that was blasting through the speakers added nothing positive to the ambiance. I hadn't eaten since that morning, so I was pretty starved. I got a Santa Fe Chicken Wrap...which gave me food poisoning. They added on a 15% gratuity charge and DIDN'T TELL US. So we ended up giving them double the tip. Hmm..wonder how many times this has happened here. Worst experience I've ever had at a hooka bar.

I like this place.  The people that run it are always very friendly (and kinda funny in that i'm-going-to-flirt-with-the-group-of-pretty-girls kinda way) and their staff have always been courteous.  They have lots of flavors of hookah and they're pretty attentive with changing coals.  They also have fans going so that people who are sensitive to TOO much smoke (like myself) can take a breath of fresh air every so often.  It's nice to not be engulfed in heavy smoke like some other places!It's a nice place to kick back but if you come with a very large group of people it gets really expensive.  There's a $10 cover charge per person so if you're going to have a birthday party there make sure you tell your broke-ass friends to pay their $10!Their music is pretty loud if you sit too close to the speakers, however.  I'm ok with music and all, but when you have to say "WHAT?" eight times to understand what the person next to you is saying, it gets annoying.So... 5 stars to start.-1 star for crazy loud music.4 stars!

AWSOME, AWSOME, AWSOME...This place is great,,,great hookah...great food...great service...I would not go to any other hookah bar.

This place is cool and all but i'm sure theres better hookah places out there. I haven't been to too many yet. I liked the Armenian coffee. Their selection of flavors of tobacco is alright. It's a little pricey. I think it was a $10 min per person, which for 2 people is no problem. But when you come with a group and some people don't really smoke, it can be expensive. The staff is a bit pompous. Not really a shocker though. We bought our own hookah since. Much cheaper.

I still haven't found a hookah bar that has topped ones in Upland, CA.  This will have to do though.  The $10 dollar min. is kind of ridiculous, but at least the hookah covers for it.  Water costs money (they'll never give you free water, always bottled).  Tea and coffee is a bit overpriced-- and it's not very big.  Best time is to go on the weekends, good crowd, belly dancing later in the night!  They have a wide selection of shisha, and their specialty mixes aren't too shabby!

I come here every time I want to smoke hookah with friends. I always have a good time here. The hookah flavors are awesome. The manager is almost always in the front and is super nice. Though the staff could be a little faster it is still a neat place to go. Also their is a great belly dancer that goes on, on Saturday nights around 12:00 AM. If you don't feel like drinking :( then come here with some friends and smoke some hookah :)
