Came here on a Saturday night with my girlfriend, deciding to use our entertainment card. Very disappointed. First we were pretty much the only people eating here (the window was dark from outside so you wouldn't know this driving past it). The server was nice at the start and recommended us some appetizers. We then ordered the two main dishes of shrimp kebab and combo platter. The shrimp was NOT FRESH and smells funky. Because I was on a date with my girlfriend, I tried to be polite, and hint to the waiter that something was wrong--either the spice was too much or the shrimp was not fresh. He immediately became defensive and said that it's the spice. His defense went something like this: two other people before you ordered the shrimp and that's why we even ran out of shrimp. WTF?! Was that supposed to mean that they used old shrimp on us or that we should just shut up like the last two people who ordered it? He didn't comp the meal, insisting that the shrimp was fine (even if we didn't eat most of it and they just threw it out the kitchen). To be fair, the combo platter was good for the most part, but the portions are small for $17 a plate. Our total bill came out to about $27, that's already with the entertainment discount (50%). So, it is EXPENSIVE, the serving is SMALL, some of the food is NOT FRESH, and half the time NOBODY was there (not even the waiter). And oh, the decor looked like someone's weird masochist dream, with chains and crossbones hanging on the ceiling. BE WARNED!

This place has the BEST Lebanese mezzes I've ever had.  They put out the stuff that you hardly ever find in standard middle eastern places like Shanglish, which is essentially Armenian-style blue cheese salad. Also, their muhammarah (red pepper paste dip) is the best!!  They have a huge patio in the back and on the second floor, hence the name of the restaurant. It's family-run and you can tell they put a lot of care into all the food and the decor.    TOTALLY worth going out to Arcadia for this middle eastern feast!

Definitely a repeat. Tried it for the first time yesterday and I can't stop thinking of the baba ganoush (smoked eggplants chopped not mushed).  YUM!

Service was terrible. We went into this restaurant. Nobody else was there, not even a waiter, and no other customers. We had to go to the back to find someone.  The food was ok.  But for a party of two people, they tried to automatically add in tip. As we were determining the tip value, the waiter was lecturing us on how much to tip.  The atmosphere was creepy.  Definitely not a place for a date.

So I ordered the lamb chops while my friends ordered the kebabs.  The lamb chops were well seasoned and cooked just right with a dash of gameyness.  The beef kebabs were excellent!  The chicken kebabs were a bit dry.  The combo kebab platter is a great safe route.  =)  We didn't try the hookahs, but they smelled very good!  =)  They lost a star though for the shady 18% gratuity they snuck into the bottom of the bill.  I understand if a 18% gratuity is implemented for large parties...but for four people!?  At least be upfront about the gratuity and print out a statement saying it's already been added...  I must confess for the price, I'm sure there are plenty of other restaurants with bigger portions though...but can you really complain given the food diversity in the area?  =P

Tried it this week and LOVED the hummus, and the beef kabobs were incredibly tender. I was a bit concerned that we were the only patrons there on a Friday night. People! Eat here, please! The food is awesome, it is immaculately clean, service is fabulous and the prices are good. The location is on Huntington Drive past the Olive Garden and Outback Steakhouse. (crappy chain restaurants). It's worth going a 1/2 mile past those places for awesome food in a classy atmosphere. I only wish I had a party to plan , I'd have it here.

I haven't eaten there yet but just stumbled into the place about 10 p.m. on a weeknight as it was closing and I had to write a review based on the ambience alone. Great design and decorations that immediately transport you to a Middle Eastern restaurant, and even a two-story outdoor patio in back and a huge banquet room upstairs.Menu looks great and prices very reasonable. Can't wait to go there for a meal!

We just had dinner at this place tonight.  My husband had the lamp chop and I had the combo grill of beef, lula, and chicken kebabs.  We both enjoyed the food very much.  The hummus was really good also.  Unfortunately, I don't think the location is that visible for people.  You wouldn't know to stop by here if you didn't know there is a restaurant here.  I pass by this street many times and didn't even see it.  Food was great, we would be back!

OMG I LOVE THE PATIO!!!!!The food is to die for! I start with the hummus (with warm pita bread... mmm), a ceaser salad and then the beef kebab which is made with filet mignot and the most scrumptious rice ever. There are two of us and the bill is usually about $40 total.Inside or outside seating. Hookah smoking, and regular smoking allowed outside. Full bar with funny drink names. Great ambiance - nice and modern! The music pumps. And I hear there's a party at this place on Thursday nights! The staff are the sweetest ever. They are so attentive and strive to please and make you feel like a friend. We have a regular server, Wael, who is always so happy to see us. Once in a while service can be slow, but then I realized there was one woman in the kitchen cooking my food, I quickly forgave the extra time.I can't believe more people haven't found out about this place. It's a gem!

The food is good but their portions are rather small.  I think this may be because they don't get too many customers and they're probably struggling to stay afloat.  If prices were cheaper or portions were bigger I'd definitely go back.

AMAZING SERVICE, BIG SPACE, DELICIOUS FOOD CUTE SERVERS! Goodness! My family and I just threw my Grandma's 90th birthday here and I couldn't be more pleased with everything! We rented out the upstairs area for 100+ people, ordered appetizers an entree for the party. First off, you never would have guessed there were 100 people seated where we were because it was not at all cramped or uncomfortable. Everyone was pleased with their seating and had plenty of room to move around. If you'll not my "not good for kids" vote it is because we had kids at the dinner (big mistake). It was an adult party and kids don't sit still so I don't know what we were thinking. Plus, get a babysitter for the night, you'll enjoy the ambiance and music a lot more too....moving on... We had a DJ spinning the whole time we were there and although the downstairs also had music playing for the majority of the night, we didn't hear a note of music that wasn't ours so we enjoyed our dancing without interruption. The food....YUMMMMMMMYYYY! We ordered salad and empanadas (i think they had a cheese/spinach filling...?) as appetizers and we could not get enough! Enough for my fatty self to have 2 servings per appetizer. When the main entree made its way to our table I was regretting being the fatty I am because food COVERED my plate. More than enough rice, the mashed potatoes were fluffy and the gravy just right....and the meat...*drool*...the meat was to die for! Delicious tender beef that fell onto my fork at the slightest touch and seasoned to perfection. As for drinks, they make a mean margarita! Management and the person who we booked with, Nora, are angels to work with! They hang on to your every word and accommodate your every request.  Everyone was very courteous and the servers are scrumptious! (that's a BIG bonus for me) =) Overall, the evening was a big success and we've already shot more business their way. I hope more people give this place the credit it deserves! Side note: The downstairs looked hella chill, too! people dining, drinking and smoking hookah! I'll be back for casual nights very soon. Especially since I just learned they have local bands play here every Thursday night! Maybe I can catch cute server boy's eye next time I'm there. *crosses fingers*

Came here on a weekday...we were the only customers! We were sat near the bar facing the giant plasma screen featuring Nancy Ajram gyrating her hips. Woah. Calm down, Nancy. I ordered the vegetarian plate: Falafel, Grape Leaves, Tabbouleh, rice, and Baba Ghannoush! We also ordered a plate of cheese fatayer (cheese pies). They came out piping hot. Everything was really good, the hummus was "zesty!" according to my friend. It had a lot of olive oil. I definitely liked it. They serve nargileh (hookah) here, but I have yet to try it. Only strange thing was the old chunky lady poking her head out to leer at my friends and I as we were eating. Maybe she was playing peek-a-boo? Creepy.

I came here with a few friends last night and it was adorable! The decor is very reminiscent of the street view of a European cafe, according to my interior decorator friend. We ordered:1. Lebanese salad2. falafel3. Lebanese sausage4. hummus and pita5. eggplant dipI absolutely loved their Lebanese sausage! It was sweet, juicy, and full of these anise-like spices that I cannot quite name but absolutely loved. Their hummus was a little too thick for my liking and lacking in tahini, but otherwise, it was garlicky, lemony, and very tasty. Watch out for the heavy use of olive oil in the dishes, but I think that might be a defining characteristic of Mediterranean cuisine. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think it tends to be low in fat, so they tend to drizzle olive oil liberally for an extra kick. I was not a fan of the eggplant dip, as it tasted burnt. The falafel were quite yummy, but they grow a little stale as they cooled, so eat them while they're hot. I loved their Lebanese salad because of the generous splash of fresh and fragrant herbs. Prices can be a bit high, but go in between 3-7 on weekdays for their happy hour deals on certain appetizers. My friends and I made a meal of them.

Had a great experience here recently. We tried the chicken kabobs and the lula kabobs and the shirazi salad and everything was delicious. The portions are large and the wait staff are very attentive. We dined inside, but the restaurant also has a very nice patio in the back. They run coupons in the local papers pretty often, but even without the coupon the prices are pretty reasonable. I would definitely dine here again.

Service was alright - depending on who you get. They do give good recommendations though if you are unsure of what to get.Food on the other hand was awesome. The pita bread arrived piping hot and kept on coming. They have toooons of appetitzers, all of which look so good! Hummus was uncomparable to what you normally get in grocery stores. I can't get enough of their cheese boreg - I strongly suggest that. I would also recommend to reconsider getting their "feasts" because they are basically larger portions of the appetizers. The decor is pretty modern and hip. You can sit outside if you want hookah. The balcony on the 2nd floor is nice but I don't know if they seat people up there. Very nice ambiance overall.

pros:spaciousokay servicefair portion sizeclean restroomstvs to watch consa tad bit pricey for lamb kebob plate? ($15 entrees)it didn't have hummus included, that would have probably costed me another $4 bucks or so.  $19 entree that I could have got else where for $12 bucks or less.   i don't know my mediterranean food well so maybe there is something i didn't understand about the cost.

Wasn't planning to eat Meditteranean food on a weekday but ventured here on a Thursday night with the gf. This place is a gem. Like any other Med. restaurant, the price is average but the service was superb. The waiter was very nice and courteous. He tended to our needs quickly and the best thing, he told us to use our coupon some other day. That was awesome. About the food, it was tasty and had the kick to it. It wasn't salty or did it lack taste like other Med restaurants I've been into. People of the SGV, you don't need to go to Glendale or a good Med. food. Come to this place. You definitely would enjoy it.

I have been (mildly) wanting to check out this place for a long time now. And I have to say that I was disappointed with the place. The patio section is located in the back of the restaurant and consists of an upstairs and downstairs patio area. I went on a friday night and had to sit in the downstatirs patio area because the upstairs was reserved for a "club night" that they were hosting later that night. A club that would probably be considered a plus by the "20 something" crew but not a place for me.The food was so/so and way too pricey for the quality. We paid $50+ for an appetizer, salad, entree, and 2 sodas. In addition to the mediocre food, the atmosphere left a lot to be desired. The patio (being located at the back of the restaurant) had a wonderful view of the parking lot. One thing I will say is that the wait staff was very polite and, though I didn't partake, they have hookah pipes that the customers can use. (which is a shame cause it would have been nice to

place is pricey but their food is yummy.im no expert when it comes to Mediterranean food but ill tell you my opinion anyway. we got beef kabobs for our lunch entree. each beef kabob entree was around $10-11. kinda pricey for my wallet but i was pleased with the food. so at least the food was very good. nothings worse then paying for an expensive meal that sucks. came with pita bread, hummus, and some veggies that i have no idea what it called. overall everything was good. atmosphere is reallyyyy nice. wasnt really anyone there but i think this place attracts more people at night. service was extra friendly. ALOT of parking.

Arcadia finally got a restaurant that I like.  We're regulars at Corfu in Sierra Madre so I was delighted to find yet another great place for Mediterranean food in the area.  I cant wait for the weather to get nice to go upstairs and hang out with friends this summer. I have to say the have the best rice, it melts in your mouth.  My kids had the Lula kabob and ate every bite.  My friend brought lamb chops home for her husband and she said they were very tasty.  Her husband is Greek and a very good cook so that's a big compliment.

As a local, I've never thought of Arcadia as a mecca for good food.  That means I don't generally try any of the local restaurants unless there's some special or deal advertised in the paper.  It's quite sad, since apparently there ARE a few good places, this being one.My friends and I (who are so very Asian), were a little hesitant upon entering this family restaurant, but the waiter helped us immediately to a table and made us feel comfortable.  He showered us with attention (perhaps too much) and was very helpful with suggestions and explanations.  In fact, after we told him that one of my friends is vegetarian, he made sure to give her a little extra of the vegetarian dishes, which was beyond the call of duty.Upon his suggestion, we got the Mediterranean Feast, and oh what a feast it was!  It was the perfect introduction to mediterranean cuisine, to which my friends and I had not been exposed before.  The appetizers were each so different and so good, a veritable barrage of flavors to our unsuspecting taste buds.  Of the cold dishes, my favorites were the stuffed grape leaves and mouhammara dip, which was so nutty and savory.  The entrees were not disappointing, especially the moist lula kabob and meat juice-soaked rice.  Mmm meat...Yes, the meal was a little pricey, but it was worth the attentive service and delicious food.  Another plus?  Plenty of parking and no wait.

This place is whatever, when it comes to food.  I have had much better Mediterranean food else where and the service was way off.  The drinks are kinda pricey too and the hookah was not that good.Def. give it a shot only if you are in the area and all else fails.

The Patio is a pretty darn big place that never seems even half full.  And both times eating and smoking here, it seemed like there was only one waiter, a pleasant Egyptian man, and an older guy that was handling hookah duties.  Maybe a coincidence.  That being said, it's a fine place to have a mellow meal followed by mellow hookah.  I was very satisfied with just how mellow their hookah was, very smooth indeed.

We came here with a party of eight on a Thursday night and it was pretty quiet.  A lot of the reviews said that this place was a little pricey, but I thought the prices were decent.  The dinner entrees ranged from $12 - $18, which I didn't think was that bad since the portions are pretty large.  A lot of us ended up taking home leftovers.  The place was cute, the service was pretty good and the food was delicious!  Also, parking was not a problem, which is always a plus!

So, it's lunch hour and the co-worker has a coupon for 20% off at The Patio. So what the whore, let's try it out. With a little gentle, yet firm persuasion, I convinced our group of five to try out the (in large booming voice) ARCADIA FEAST!! platter for 100 clams. How could you go wrong? It included a butt load of mezzes and kebabs and rice. Right??  The food was endless. Endless I tell you. And with five of us and our coupon, we felt like theives. The food was delish. The pita bread was HOT and crispy. So much better than other places that flop cold, lifeless pita at you (sometimes still in the BAG). the others had never tried the muhammara, and they loved it.  Honestly, the feasts are are DEAL to please all the palates and wallets in your party. But WAIT! There's MORE!  Did I mention Happy Hour?? That's right folks, for the limited hours of 3-7, you can get half off wine, beer, and well drinks and $2 bucks off happy hour appetizers. The bar tender and server were nice and friendly. And we'll throw in this special deal of karaoke on Wednesdays! That's right, request your favorite songs or SING your favorite songs until midnite.  So call now!! This deal won't last....

So I changed my mind last minute and decided I didn't feel like pho; I wanted to have Med food at Patio....The restaurant is slightly dimmer inside and reminds me of a pub, likely because of the bar and the brick-like floor.  What threw me off was the music; it wasn't really relaxing to me, and considering that there was no one else in the restaurant (they were out on the patio), it was a little loud.We were seated inside near the bar, and the server took our order of the Medditeranean feast for 2 (http://www.boorah.com/...):  Hammus, Tabbouleh, Pickles, Olives, Lebni, Mouhammara, Mutabal, Cheese with Veggie platter, Warak enab, Cheese boreg, Falafel, Foul.Entrée: Chicken Kebab, Lula Kebab . ( add Beef Kebab for $2.75/pp )  I think someone posted a picture of some of the stuff that comes in the med feast.  Anyway - I can't say I loved everything that I tried; I'll credit that to acquired tastes.  However, their "empanada thing" was good; loved the cheese/veg platter, Olives, hummus and some of the other items I couldn't Identify.  I did enjoy the rice and steak especially; it was very tender, juicy, and well seasoned. Our waiter was available to us, refilled drinks regularly, and seemed genuinely proud of what he was serving.  All in all, a good experience; slightly pricey.  Next time, I'd rather just order an entree instead of the feast, since there are so many things I don't think I'd finish.

The location of this restaurant is a bit odd, it's on a main street, but in an area that's a little obscure.  Fortunately, I was able to find street parking right in front of the restaurant (and it was free because I parked after 6pm).  The interior of the restaurant looked like a hodge-podge of a pseudo mediterranean home/exterior (i.e. the odd painting of an opened window by the front door).  There were a  bunch of tables randomly dispersed around the front dining room, I'm not even sure if there's a back room. They also had a small bar but unfortunately I didn't have any drinks. Now let's talk about the most important part- the food! I was there with a party of 7 and luckily one of the girls ordered the hummus and pita.  The hummus was pretty fresh and the pita nice and toasty. I wouldn't say it was the best hummus I ever tasted, but it was pretty good (I think it was the hunger talking).  I ordered the beef kabobs (filet mignon) and it wasn't necessarily the most expensive dish on the menu (the seafood was the priciest, duh), but it was reasonable compared to the portion.  It came on a large plate of rice (and 10 pieces of large beef chunks!), with a grilled tomato, large pepper and 2 pieces of pita with sun dried tomatoes and seasoned onions.  The meat was succulent and flavored well, nice and tender! I was pleasantly surprised :)I ordered an iced tea and I'm mentioning this because the waiter service was pretty good (granted by the end of the night- or 9pm, we were the only party left in the entire restaurant), and I got refills pretty frequently.  At one point the music started skipping and suddenly a remix of Cher's Believe came blasting on the speakers. We were all startled because they were playing traditional Lebanese music before and then we got a flashback to the 90s! Overall I thought the place was pretty good for the price, I don't know why people were complaining about the dinner price (perhaps the lunch is expensive), but it was well worth the amount of food I received. I would recommend this place (even though its out of the way for me).

I would recommend this place (even though its out of the way for me).So I changed my mind last minute and decided I didn't feel like pho; I wanted to have Med food at Patio....The restaurant is slightly dimmer inside and reminds me of a pub, likely because of the bar and the brick-like floor. This deal won't last....We came here with a party of eight on a Thursday night and it was pretty quiet.
