This hangout is a local favorite for boba milk tea and popular with South Bay teens. It's a small cafe in a strip shopping mall with few parking spaces. However, the boba is cooked to the perfect consistency, easily chewable without being slimy. The milk tea is also not too sweet. There's a large variety of slushies, coffees, and teas to choose from as well as little entrees like crepes and kabobs. Recently, Munchicup added hookahs to their menu. Rent an ornate hookah by the hour and smoke flavored tobacco with a friend for $20. I'm not sure how this passes underage smoking laws, but it sure is popular with the kids who come here in the evenings and weekends.

i came here after having dinner across the street and was craving boba. the place is tiny.. nothing special about the decor it was just another boba place. their tea is powder-based (like many boba places) so it was eh. it's not that good if you're really into boba and tea.

11/04/08 Update:Ownership has changed hands and a name change as well. I do not know the quality of the new place. If I visit, I will update. My original review below:-------------------------------------------------- -This is a great place for low cost Boba drinks, or smoothies. The menu is very diverse so everyone should be able to find something they like. Most drinks are made with non-dairy creamer and whipped cream, so that is great for people with lactose intolerance. I'm not too sure about their other new added services, because I do not find interest in such things. I usually would stop here during my lunchbreak for a coffee mocha smoothie. At $2.75 it was a great and tasty deal.
